After our visit to the tip of Africa, needed sustenance and Struisbaai was far too busy. Popped into Bredasdorp for some lunch. Flame Grill was great value for money. Good food, great service!

Found this little gem of a place and definitely enjoyed the visit.
Food portions are great and the Calamari steak was done perfectly.
Good service too.

Although the general impression was not impressive, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food in this non up-market pub. Was able to watch the rugby from the kiddies playarea while the smokers had the bigger screens in the pub area. For a Plattelandse dorpie, Bredasdorp, this place served its purpose adequately.

Absolutely shocking service. We were treated like children, not given any menu's or help with the moving of tables to accomodate our group. We received no service whatsoever after we fetched our own menu's, and decided to leave after 30 minutes. Terrible atmosphere, no music, I am absolutely shocked and disgusted. We came to Spur afterwards, and the difference between the two restaurants are like night and day. Definitely do not recommend Flames.

My 3rd time eating here while working in Bredasdorp. Every time the service is not up to standard but this time to the cake!
To get service I have to go into the kitchen asking for the menu. There the waiters was busy eating. And was she rude with me the whole evening because I came to the kitchen to ask for service. No one on the floor to help. No one at the door. You have to come in take a seat and hope someone help you. Waiter don't take cutlery away of previous guest and about all available tables had dirty cutlery on - while waiter eating in the kitchen. When I want to pay I had to go to the kitchen again asking for my bill. The lady who are the manager or supervisor for the evening also coming out of the kitchen. I will definitely not go back again!

Here you get the best food in Bredaddorp. Look for there diffent specials daily.
The staff are friendly and the service good. The menu are good and the portions big. The best value for money. They do make very good pizzas. Higly recommended for eat out when in Bredasdorp. Lots of parking.

So we rock up on a Saturday night around 8:30pm having never been / heard of the place. Sat in the restaurant to order but was told through the magic doors was a pub! Relocated there and awaited our Saturday night special which was 1x 300g ribs, chicken wings & chips and 1x 300g ribs, calamari and chips - all for the simply unbelievable price of R159! Admittedly we weren’t expecting too much at that price but BOU were we surprised! The ribs were to DIE for, succulent and fell off the bone only using the power of gravity! Same for the chicken wings and as for the calamari steak strips - well what can I add - they were delicious. Washed down with a cracking bottle of Toitskloof Sav Blanc for R100 the meal was bloody near perfection. Awesome job and can’t recommend the combo above to anyone visiting.

This is the best food in town. You get very large portions for the best affordable prices. Their specials everyday of the week is great.

Went for a quick warming drink with a small cycling group; teas, filter coffee - nothing complicated! It must have taken 40 minutes for them to arrive and then some were wrong.

I visited this restaurant with the Cape Town Hog Motorcycle Club. We received a warm welcome, friendly service and quick delivery of our orders. The food was tasty and the portions were generous. The staff was very friendly and the service as a whole was excellent. It was great to visit Bredasdorp after these years as my parents have a strong connection with the town. They were married in the big old white church,55 years ago.

We stopped here for a celebration lunch. The menu offered a good variety of options, the service was very friendly, the was tasty (great Eisbein and sauerkraut) and the restaurant has a quaint atmosphere.
There is lots of parking available behind the building.

We have been going to Flames since 2015, every November/ December/ January when we visit Arniston and they just never disappoint.
We went back 2/3 times for their home made chicken pies!
It may be the nicest chicken pie i have ever tasted.
I would recommend pub grub type and traditional type dishes when ordering.

At flames you still get the best value for money. The portion are big and well prepared. The staff are friendly and service good. Try the pizza. Highly recommended.

The venue is very "down to earth" with plain honest food.
Was it the best I've had? No but it was still tasty and considering the quality of the food and service if I was in the town with family/children I would return again. The food was good, the portions extremely generous, the price was real value for money.

We went on a Thursday for lunch and ordered the 400g Ribs and a Regina pizza. The food was really delicious and the service was friendly and quick. Thank you. We will visit again.
