Although I liked the Toma ceviche better..... I can't say that this one was bad, I think it was good, in general the dishes well, good seasoning, I find expensive for what they serve, but passable. But what I can’t do is waitresses, 20 minutes to attend to me and there were only 5 tables with me, sitting talking, looking at them and nothing, when I called her, stopped but she preferred to pick up the plates from a table before going before me. I asked for the plate and 10 minutes later he tells me there wasn't. I really wouldn't come back.

The restaurant is nice and has a nice atmosphere. The food was mainstream. Not the richness of flavours and the quality we have been used to in Peru.

This restaurant had traditional food. The portion sizes were big. We shared ceviche which was good. Main dish was tacu tacu con pollo we shared also that one.

Really cool restaurant in Piura. Great seafood and really good air conditioning for a hot summer day. Langostino cocktail is just amazing especially with a Trigo Cusquena!
Nice relaxing atmosphere in a bustling city.

This spot was recommended by a Piuran friend and she was spot on. Ceviche and tacu tacu were the highlights. It’s worth a visit and for about $6-10 US per person you can get a great meal and a beer or chicha morada!

The food was outstanding. Tacu Tacu was the best in town. HUGE portion, more than enough for two people. Meat was moist and tender The cabrito was awesome. Spanish speaking only. A very local restaurant.

Its one of the classic restaurants in downtown for local dishes.
The tamalitos verdes and "Carne aliñada" are very good.

Ceviche de Mero and Piqueo especial ... so excellent!!! I would like to return again. It is near to Piura's main square (just two blocks). Go with frinds so you can try many dishes.

I went on a Friday evening and the restaurant was empty for half my meal until one other table arrived, only to order off the separate Italian food menu. Maybe lunch is the time to be there? The green tamale was rather dry (I recommend trying them in nearby Catacaos instead) and so was the chavelo. The flavor of the chavelo was good and the portions pretty big and filling. Good location just south of the plaza de armas. Algarobbo (local tree) pisco cocktail was interesting but not cheap.

I had Seco de Chabelo, which is a stew of green bananas with pork, very good, but huge!!! The restaurant is close to the Los Portales Hotel, you can walk to this place. Nice restaurant with food from Piura.
