Without a doubt, La Giberga, led by Mai, has become an essential restaurant in the center of Reus.
Traditional, exquisite dishes with very reasonable prices.
Going to Giberga is like feeling at home.

Pleasant open-plan premises in the center of the town. We tried the menu of the day, 2 dishes and dessert to choose from for €17.90. Good variety of dishes, very good quality and well presented and good service.
The only negative point to comment on is the ambient noise that seems to come from the kitchen, a continuous intermittent hum that they try to cover with ambient music but it is not possible. Everything else very good.

An excellent experience. We went on a Saturday with a prior reservation and despite it being a very busy weekend in the city we were able to eat quietly. Excellent food, quality and incredible flavor. The love with which Mai and Aleix cook and serve is a 10.

More than terrible, atrocious experience. Zero empathetic waiter and from my point of view, what is worse, rude.
We went with a 5 and a half year old girl, once we had ordered the dishes, we notified the waiter to ask him for one of the seconds to leave as first, for her. Answer? Hand gesture for us to wait. He walks around our table twice and doesn't even come close. We called him again and this time we managed to get the message to him.
A long time later, between half an hour and 40 minutes, with the rest of the first courses on the table, we ask him how that second course that should be first is going, and the literal answer is “it will come out when it comes out.”
An hour and a half later, we have gotten that dish but not the rest of the seconds.
We tell him that we consider that the answer he has given us has not been appropriate and he asks us why. We explain our point of view to him (he still doesn't see what's wrong with the phrase "it will come out when it comes out"), he reproaches us for not having asked for the second one as first from the beginning, and when we tell him that we have tried it almost immediately and He has not attended to us, he just leaves, leaving us with the word in our mouths. It is no longer about good or bad service, this is a matter of education.
We ask that the seconds be takeaway and the count. He charges us for the entire menu without giving us desserts. We ask that if you charge for the entire menu, you at least serve it in its entirety, and 15 more minutes of waiting to get the desserts to go.
Really... what a shame to live experiences like that when you go out to eat with your family...

A family restaurant that is notable for the love they put into their dishes. They are 3 Perfect dishes! From the price to its quality. We were 7 people to eat and we started the experience with the starters that really left us amazed, then the main course in my case was the best. A high impact pork. I looked at my friends and we all enjoyed our dishes very happily. The attention and explanation left us very happy, I loved that it was food made with love, all on time and very delicate. Feeling at home and with a good glass of wine earned my highest recommendation. Please try the Catalan cream, one of the best I have tried in Catalunia. I was lucky enough to meet their chef. Who by the way has the most beautiful glasses in Reus.

They have a very varied menu, I ordered a carpaccio of pig's feet, and a duck magret which was delicious, and for dessert the roasted apple was also very good. We were a group that ordered a very varied variety and we all came out super happy with our choice. Besides, we were very comfortable since there is a very familiar atmosphere that is appreciated. Without a doubt we will repeat.

Delicious lunch menu. According to the price. In addition to being tasty, the variety of options when choosing dishes is worth highlighting, both first, second and dessert. I definitely recommend the meat cannelloni and the meatballs in sauce. Delicious.
Good attention at all times.

Disastrous service. Zero empathy at the family level and totally unconcerned about the service and waiting time. I believe that to allocate reservations there must be sufficient planning and service to attend to it. Of seven tables in service, six of them waiting to have a dish. In almost two hours without having finished the meal. Very bad experience beyond the raw materials and the dishes served. I sure won't be back!

We ate at this lovely restaurant while visiting Reus.
The mother son team that create the food and provide the service were incredible.
From the gorgeous presentation of the food to recommendations of wine from their village, it made for a perfect dining experience.
The chef, who prefers to be called a cook, is humble and cooks with love, her son is funny and kind, what a team.
Highly recommend this fabulous find!

The place is cozy, not very large. We ate the weekend menu, all very good and well presented. What we didn't like so much was the slow service. A single person for the dining room was clearly insufficient. My favorite restaurant in Reus. The food is excellent, very well prepared local product. Extensive wine list, if you let their advice, they always surprise you with a good wine.
The treatment is unbeatable, close and personal, they make you feel at home. First class restaurant, highly recommended.

We visit this restaurant whenever we can, as we believe it does the best food in Reus. I feel safe eating here during the pandemic as they now have outside tables, though indoors is spacious, and all the staff wear masks. They have a terrace menu with an array of great choices (e.g. excellent chicken croquetas, and small fried battered fish which come in a cone of paper), but it's always worth asking for the daily specials - yesterday they had many of these and we enjoyed gyozas (Japanese dumplings) for example. The chocolate coulant was a lovely dessert, but we recommend the savoury dishes above all else. Ask Mai (the owner) for her wine recommendation - she always recommends amazing local wines - she is such a wine guru! We love her.

Very good quality, surprising holiday menu. Everything was very good, we especially enjoyed the first ones: the salad and the anchovy coca. The desserts could be improved a little.

I love this restaurant! I have been eating since they opened, specially for birthdays! Although it's great to just go there for an evening out. The food and wines are just amazing and not like anywhere else in Reus. There's a great atmosphere and the staff are really lovely and always welcoming.

We have visited this restaurant regularly and I have come to the conclusion that this is the best restaurant in Reus. The wine recommendations are amazing and the food is both imaginative and delicious. We have tried a lot of the dishes on the new menu now and they are superlative - hard to believe they could surpass their previous menu but this food is amazing - I would recommend anything but have really enjoyed the croquetas, the burrata, the octopus, the llobarro for example.
