Very good food, decent portions. Rice is included in the price of every dish. There were two of us and we were given a bowl of rice with our meal. When we had finished eating, there was still rice left in the bowl. We wanted to take the rice with us as it was included in the price. The older waiter told us that we could only take the rice with us if there was some meat left. So we didn't get the remaining rice that we paid for! The rice was either thrown away or served to other people. We couldn't think of any other solution :(. As I said, very good food, but we didn't expect the unpleasant surprise at the end! A bitter aftertaste, unfortunately.

I have eaten at this restaurant 4-5 times and have never been disappointed. There is adequate parking in the area outside their patio, and usually seating available without a reservation. One is usually greeted quickly upon entering, and shown to a choice of seats. We have been there as a couple and also as a party of up to ten people, and never had a problem quickly being seated. The staff is courteous, helpful, and friendly. On occasion they have been understaffed with servers, so one must wait a few extra mintues, but never to the point of being unpleasant. The menu has a rich variety of Indian dishes, and the spice levels are indicated for those of us not intimately familiar with the cuisine. Prices are reasonable and all in all it's worth visiting!

We have been going to Lahori the past 3 years. This our favourite restaurant that we all enjoy. We have 2 children ages 15 and 13. Thank god they love different cuisine. So we tried a couple of years ago this Indian restaurant. Since than we are going there regularly. We love the chicken ticka masala and the chicken soup. Also the tali for 2 is always great. I read a review about women are not treated nicely when alone. I am very surprised by such a statement as my wife and daughter come here often alone and feel very welcomed. We have a favourite waiter that always jokes with us. The quality of food and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it.

Fine and good North Indian food in Miesbach. Very very good Nans with yummy and tasty beef sabzi as also lamb curry. Fine Indian cuisine with fine Indian tea which is not available around. We enjoyed a sumptuous lunch as also dinner parcelled out. Very courteous and homely service with gentle personnel there. Love to go again.

Indian restaurants were hard to find outside of Munich a few years ago. However, now there is an Indian restaurant in Miesbach, as well as Indian restaurants in the greater Miesbach area. The Lahori, in my opinion, is possibly the best of the bunch. The food is authentic, fresh, well prepared and served by very friendly multi-lingual staff. My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. We like a variety of their offerings but our favorites are Chicken Tikka, Beef Korma, Mango Chicken and Saag Beef. The portions are generous and when served with Nan simply delicious.

I was there for dinner with my wife and daughter while on holidays in Bavaria. Based on our past experiences we were not expecting too much in rather rural Bavaria. We were in for a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is a little difficult to find, somewhat hidden in a back yard. But the menu was quite eclectic, with a broad tandoor section and Indian as well as Pakistani dishes, as far as I could tell. We ordered a couple of starters (naan, poppadum, onion rings), and the delicacies started coming in after a very short wait. Even our daughter tried—and liked—a few of the starters. For the main course I tried the "mutton Lahori" with pickled cucumbers; didn't know what to expect, but I really liked it. So many flavours all at once. My wife had "Chicken Tikka" something, which she also enjoyed. The service was great; attentive, great with children, friendly, flexible, quick. They even asked us before offering our daughter a lolly, which I found very considerate. Delicious food and great service, what a pleasant surprise.

We ordered a takeaway which included Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and Lahori Dal Gosht. Other than the Butter Chicken, we had specifically asked for Indian style preparation for the other two. The Chicken Tikka was really well made but the Dal Gosht was pretty ordinary with even basic salt seemingly missing. Butter Chicken was okay. The cook also forgot to pack a Nan and rice but mistakes do happen. Must say, we were expecting much more considering the reviews that we have seen.

This was our first visit and it wont be the last. Very friendly and attentive staff who gave an excellent service. The food was everything and more. Very good range of dishes and rice was served with the meal unlike in the UK where you buy as an extra. Great to see Kingfisher beer too! Plenty of parking close by. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

We stayed at nearby Schliersee for a week and we stopped at Lahori almost every evening. Either to dine in or take out. The owner is nice gentleman who always greeted us with courtesy and offered complementary tea or mango lassi while we are waiting for take out food. We saw lot of local crowd rather than tourists every day - looks like Lahori built up a good reputation for good, authentic and tasty food.

We were keen on eating vegetarian food and there was an offer of a special thali (complete meal) for two persons. We got a choice of eight vegetable and lentil portions served in small cups along with rice and naan, Indian leavened bread baked in an oven. We found the food to be fresh and enjoyed the mildly spiced food.

Yes, we know "Indian food" so it is easy to call it indian food, but those people are from Lahore Pakistan, which border India. The food was excellent, very close of what you will eat in the original country. The nans we crispy, the palak paneer and the vegetable thali also. The price is ok for a western country, except for the bottle of water. The service was correct, the people speak a good English and you can pay with credit card, something rare in the area.
