Two hours after landing on Kos again we were checking in to the hotel then heading straight here for lunch. The food and Hospitality is always 5*. If you visit one taverna on Kos make it this place as you will not be disappointed. We...always go all inclusive but inevitably end up here more than a few times in a week as it really is that goodMore

Where to start, if you are staying in one of the all inclusive hotels nearby by this little gem, do yourselves a favour and go and experience some fantastic greek hospitality, fabulous food, within a charming setting and you will be helping a local business...that deserves to thrive. There is a close team with the main man who runs it, who is fun, charming and gives you a genuine welcome everything and just wants you to relax and enjoy yourselves, then his cheeky little helper who is being taught the ropes by an expert and then the lady who does all the cooking who is a fantastic cook and the food she makes is delicious, well cooked and home made, all in all cannot recommend anymore highly do yourself a favour and leave the hotels for a few nights and experience a great night out with some lovely people enjoying great food. We stayed in Psalidi for a week and Romeo’s was across from our hotel. Originally we were going to upgrade our stay to all inclusive. However, the first day we went to Romeo’s for lunch and had the best Greek food so we decided to...stay as B&B. Romeo gave us a warm welcome. He’s a really lovely, funny guy. It’s a family owned and run business and he’s helped by Billy who is a very polite young man. They really like to look after you and nothing is too much trouble. We went for dinner 3 times and we loved the food and the beer is lovely and cold. A great range on the menu for all tastes. Great pasta, pizza, and breakfasts. He has a wide range of beers and spirits. A definite must if you want somewhere outside of Kos Town’s busy restaurants for the best food. We’ll be back! I can’t fault this place and can’t wait to come back.More

Wow what can I say about this restaurant apart amazing food cooked by an amazing team with Romeo as front of house. We were staying in an all inclusive next door but hubby wanted to watch the football 🤦‍♀️ We were welcome by Romeo and...his son and felt at home straight away. The food was amazing and was the entertainment by Romeo himself! Half the hotel had many a meal there too! It looks like a simple Taverna but don’t be fooled the food was amazing! We went several times whilst we were there and will definitely go back!More

Another year holidaying in Kos and as usual we couldn’t go to Kos without a visit to Romeo’s Taverna. The warm welcome from the main man himself and his family is always a pleasure to look forward to. We as a party of 4 all...had different dishes from the menu and each and every one of the meals was as always exceptionally cooked by Romeo’s lovely wife. I must visit place for us for over 7 years now. You won’t be disappointed. See you again soon Mark & Nuch xxMore

What a cracking place. Romeo is the best host and gentlemen. He is so welcoming and knows how to give first-class service to his customers. The food is excellent, all freshly cooked by his wife and daughter, I had the homemade apple pie for dessert,...just delicious. Your beer is served in a cold glass from the fridge, and he also gave me a free drink and my wife a coffee liquor. We loved supporting this local restaurant, and it was well worth it. It's difficult for them to be located outside two all-inclusive hotels, but they easily beat the hotels when it comes to personal service. Thank you for the warm welcome and food. I hope you have a successful season.More

What can I say that hasn’t already been said. Romeos is probably the best taverna I’ve been to. Such a warm welcome by the man himself, what a legend.and a real gentleman. Once he’s met you, he will never forget you. The food is absolutely...delicious. Cooked by 2 ladies. We have so far visited twice and sadly tonight will be our last visit . Great value for money, and then he gives you free drinks before you leave. You must visit, it beats the all inclusive food in hotel by a million miles. Thank you Romeo for your wonderful hospitality, I’ll never forget this fabulous place. The best ever xxxMore

So good we came back to eat here 3 nights out of 7. The food was good, very fresh and tasty with good options for all the family, but what sets Taverna Romero apart is the service, the owner and waiter were so welcoming and...friendly. They couldn’t be more accommodating, nothing was to much trouble. Really would highly recommend you visit. They deserve to be very successful. This is exactly what you want from a local restaurant on holiday. ❤️More

In our hotel we only had breakfast and dinner. For lunch we went always to Romeo. The food is quite good, not expensive. We like local, so we can recommend octopus and grilled calamri. If you have small kids. There is also a small playground...inside.More

This place needs to be visited by all those staying at the TUI Blue Oceanic, it's literally across the road and even though the hotel is all inclusive, you need to try traditional Greek food and this place offers it in abundance and with such...quality 👌. This is family owned and Romeo is just out of this world to make sure from the minute you arrive that you are given the lovely Greek welcoming and made to feel relaxed and comfortable, nothing is too much trouble for this man and for the 10 days there he made my holiday not the TUI Blue. Had 2 evening meals and probably would have had more if I'd have visited this place earlier. 10/10 on all levels. Watch his levels if having a spirit he gets carried away 🤣 Miss this man and his food 😢More

This taverna was a 15 minute walk from our hotel. Such a great find! We were made to feel so welcome right from the start. Food is fresh and authentic, cooked by the owners wife. The apple pie is gorgeous and all home baked. We...went there 3 times during our stay and loved it.More
