Top notch fresh ingredients cooked perfectly

We were lucky to be among the first to arrive for lunch so we had no trouble getting a table even if we hadn't called ahead( by the time we left the terrace was full and part of the tables inside). The fish and sea food were extremely fresh and cooked just right. We found the staff to be very accommodating, putting in our son's order first and they spoke English, which is always a plus. Highly recommend, will be back there

We came to eat several times at the Casa Juan bar, excellent paella, tapas, super fresh vegetables, fish and shellfish, an excellent welcome, always smiling even when the restaurant is crowded. A regular clientele is a sign of an excellent address. Congratulations to the whole team, keep it up.

I have a high opinion of the food they serve and the attention of the staff; especially the person in charge. The interior living room is small but cozy and the terrace is spacious. The service is attentive and good; The youngest waiter only needs a smile to serve the customer. The food is very affordable and delicious. The only problem could be the paella that we ordered (mixed) at a normal price that was not as we expected. It could be a 5 star if it weren't for the paella. Super recommended.

Delicious authentic Spanish food!

Wonderful food with great service! The food is a standard Spanish menu but quality is great and tastes delicious. One of our favourite little finds in Alcossebre! Recommend the goat’s cheese salad, garlic prawns and “small” calamari - all great!!

Great dinner. Escalivada , salad tomatoes (yummy ), artichokes in tempura and fish frying. All very good, generous rations and price adjusted. It is understood that the restaurant is full on a Wednesday night in June.

An excellent choice for eating or dining a delicious fish. The shellfish guarantee. we ate onion rings in tempura, razors and some chipirones plate and bluefin tuna in their point. Highlight an outstanding service from professionals. Definitely one of the best choices in the area. More than recommended.

We ate on a whim, everything was excellent as always! Oysters, coquinas, sea snails, tempura spring onion, grilled artichokes, grilled octopus! And the delicious desserts. Good start to spring! We continue enjoying Casa Juan!

Checked out trip advisor for suggestions, 3 of the four we had narrowed down our choice to, were closed, despite being listed as open. No matter, had a delicious meal here! Had wanted paella, but as have some dietary restrictions thought I wouldn’t be able to, happy to find that they would make us paella taking into those into account. Delicious!

Lovely restaurant

Great food- good selection of tasty tapas and mains. Our party had a great Valencian paella and the fish was excellent too. Good wine choices. Friendly and efficient service. We came back for dinner on a second evening.

Wholesome tapas and excellent value

Mainly seafood/shellfish based tapas here and plenty of it at really good prices too. Packed with locals and full when we first walked past; lucky to get a table on the second pass and so glad we did. The octopus was a real highlight as was the baby squid. Didn't seem to have many meat/veggie options but seafood was fab. Service was functional rather than friendly (they were busy) and the place had a nice busy buzz. Five tapas (sizeable portions), bottle of wine, a beer, and a couple of soft drinks came in at €50 - really good value.

Great tapas

Family of 6 (kids aged 10-18) ate here on a busy wednesday night. Didn't book but managed to get a table. All ordered a wide selection of tapas from meats to croquettes and garlic prawns. All really good. Would recommend. Just an aside but staff seemed a bit grumpy!

Hay veces que con tanta afluencia de gente, y sin reserva es muy difícil tener una mesa. pero con un poco de paciencia nuestros camareros le buscaran una. un saludo. Thanks for your opinion. We always try to have everyone a place to sit and enjoy our tapas. Excellent food in good centre of town location

We hadn't booked a table here so turned up around 8pm and were lucky enough to het a table for 3. Whilst the restaurant was empty when we arrived it quickly filled up with reservations so if you don't arrive early in peak season you will be lucky to geg a table. Reserve beforehand if you really want to be sure. The food was excellent and the decor clean and modern. Service was akso excellent. The restaurant is in a good centre of town location near other bars and restaurants and shops so great as part of a centre of town evening out.

First we thought to have dinner at our hotel (buffet) and glad we didn't. Lovely little restaurant pearl and the quality we received was outstanding. Fresh and definitely one of my favorite seafood recommendations I could give. The dishes are straight forward, don't expect creative compositions - but that's not necessary since everything we ordered was incredibly tasteful; one could think that the gambas were still swimming in the sea an hour ago (maybe they did smile). The gambas with garlic dish was so tasteful that we skipped dessert and ordered a second portion to share instead. Great pricing for the quality received and very kind service.

We stopped for a drink and ended up tasting very good tapas. No deep fried food but fresh from the market. All veggies are home grown. Worth the visit !
