They only lose a star for the lack of vegetarian options but what they do offer tastes delicious. I went with a group of friends and ordered the vegetarian paella in advance but that was the only vegetarian option. Such a shame as i'd love to go back more often.

Excellent dinner with friends, had a nice time. The service isn’t the service it should be in terms of serving wine, cleaning the table as the next plates come etc. We asked not to be rushed so that was fine. But I think all the wait staff as in most restaurants need to learn how to be good waitstaff. I think it’s a cultural thing. But the gambas salad and paella are the best around. To have a table with a view must go at 20h and book in advance

Nice meal let down by the service

Always a regular visit for us but somewhat let down on this occasion, more so on the service than the food. We ordered our food and we’re eating our starters when they brought our sons main course out despite us having sharing starters. This was promptly sent back. My wife helped herself to the last of the sharing starter and whilst still holding the serving spoon had the plate taken away from under her nose and before she had the opportunity to help herself to the remaining source. Another issue was the mains came straight out after the starter with no time at all between courses. This is a pet hate. The lamb main course wasn’t up to its usual high standards. The deserts were lovely but difficult to eat with just a spoon and no fork. I accept some of these issues should have been raised at the time. Our 3 course meal for 3 persons was €140, which I didn’t think was the greatest of value. I am normally a big fan of this restaurant but not on this occasion.

For our last evening of our family vacation our father wanted to book the best restaurant in town. We love to spend our evening together in restaurants. The view and the whole location is beautiful but we didn’t come up to the food experience. The way the service treated us was pathetic. 2 of our 3 services were really unfriendly, so we leave the restaurant without eating our main menu. Aside from that they offered only 2 vegetarian dishes and were not able to and also not willed to present any alternative. The service can not speak one word in english. Our father can speak spanish fluet, so we did not really have a problem with that. But maybe good to know for other guests. Overall we were shocked and disappointed, we have never made such an experience before. I hope they can relax for other guests and stop there passiv aggressiv service style. They killed our always friendly family atmosphere for a while but fortunately not the whole evening.

on arrival for a third visit something felt wrong the beer I ordered was wrong and the wine waiter tried to get us to taste our bottle before we even started on aperitif and then tried to pour it.The starters arrived and were fantastic best ever! but then we waited 15 mins. fish knives arrived but after another 15 mins. I asked waitress where was main course she ran to kitchen apologised and asked for 5 more mins no problem but then food arrived and was plonked on table by surly kitchen staff as though it was our fault. My monkfish was inedible too tough and the prawns had not been cleaned my wife's sole was dry and sauce too thick I guess both had been microwaved. Reaction of staff was very poor and as we left there was an unpleasant scene at desk it was handled very badly by manager virtually ushering us out of door NOT Michelin ster behaviour!

Every five minutes they are asking for orders and removing plates. The place is very beautiful, but the rush takes away the desire. The menu is becoming smaller and smaller and the fish cannot be said in the Mediterranean..., very poor for being from the coast if you don't order rice...at the moment and until the stress passes, I don't plan to return. The restaurant is in a beautiful location with views of all of Alcossebre. The food is good, the rice with lobster is delicious. Lamb to the point. Tellinas. Monkfish with good sauce. The least successful is the puff pastry with foie, rubbery octopus, the croqueton... Juicy but size L, at most, compared to some known ones. The most stressful thing was that throughout the meal you have waiters at the table waiting to pick up a dish, when the meal we had was sharing plates. It really conditioned us too much.

This establishment has a magnificent view, plus the owner understands French. The order cards are also in French. The service at the start of the season is a little tense for some.
