We were there on a cold, rainy Saturday evening in April 2022. Almost everything else in the vicinity was closed, so we didn't have high expectations. However, we were greeted with warm hospitality, a cozy log fire, very efficient and friendly service, and really delightful...lamb curry. We will go back there any day.More

This popular stop has many hats – a decent restaurant, some specialist shops but many vacant premises a sure sign Corvid has decimated the tourist industry here – the information centre staff were very helpful – we had stopped for a snack on our way...to our lodgings and visited the Deli – lots of local produce and a good wine cellar – just one problem as we bought meat pies that were to say the least awful -- so called chicken and beef both tased of curry – one bite and in the bin disappointingMore

The waitrons are unfriendly and management in accommodating. The food was disappointing. The pasta was as good as canned spaghetti just warmed up. Really not the quality food and experience that we are accustomed to from this place.

Driving to the Champagne Valley via Winterton takes you past Thokozisa. Its a great place for lunch, with a nicely balanced menu, excellent pizza and excellent service. We sat outside, and looked at the mountains. Brilliant. The shops are all struggling but the centre will...survive and revive, it is at a perfect place, the crossroads on the way to a major tourist venue.More

Thokozisa restaurant offers a pleasant stop halfway from Winterton to the Champagne Valley. You can sit indoors or on the large terrace. The menu is long, the food average. Trout comes with either chips or rice which are both weird pairings. The service on a...qiet day was rather slow.More

I visited here 4 years ago. What Covid lockdown has done to this venue is unreal Only a few shops open. Rest are empty. I shopped at Senqu for gifts that were really well worth it. Supported the farm pickles and relishes. Hopefully things change...soon. Locals at place spoke to us of their hardships with no visitors and tourists they lost everything@More

We haven’t visited Thokosiza restaurant since 2016, but the food and service remains excellent as ever. I will definitely recommend it to anyone. Fast service, tasty food, great atmosphere.
