Quaint restaurant filled with treasures from the past. It is like a museum bringing back great childhood memories. The food is good and the service excellent. A fun place to visit on your way to and from Mabalingwe Game Reserve.
This is a fantastic 'padstal' with good service and good food. As an elderly person I was a bit concerned about the lack of Covid precautions - social distancing etc. But it was very, very busy.... and there is a lot of natural ventilation... but...still would have felt a bit safer with more precautions.More
Out looking for a morning snack and stopped in at Toeka's.
Not on the menu but the bubbly waitress brought us a loaf of freshly baked bread, softened butter and a great plate of chips nicely spiced.
We made chip butties that were scrumptious. We...enjoyed the venue with its 'old times are great vibe' and left with a bag of tasty biltong to nibble in the car. Definitely worth a visitMore
Great venue, nice and relaxing atmosphere. Food is very good, if they have what you order. Definitely not good planning when it comes to having everything on the menu in stock and there is NO service what so ever. takes for ever to get a...drink - 1 or 2 waitresses definitely NOT sufficient for a Sunday brunch!More
We stop for a light meal at Toeka se Dae on every trip to Bela Bela . There is always something old but new to look at. The friendly service from staff and the good food , make for an unforgettable experience.
