I only stumbled on this restaurant, which is in a very touristy place, because one has to book many weeks in advance. So they clearly were doing something well. The photos on the website are not terribly exciting, but I decided to give it a...try. It was one of the most pleasant surprises for a while. Firstly, the value for money is excellent. But even more surprising, IF at the time of booking, you ask the chef to prepare a vegetarian meal, he will do a superb job at preparing an innovative vegetarian meal, provided the seasonal fruits and vegetables allow it.More

Fabulous restaurant, the fish dishes are especially recommended. At 35 Euros for three courses this is excellent value.

We eat at La Belle Etoile at least once on every visit to the Perigord, over more than 30 years. The local cuisine is amongst the best in the region, the wine list carefully chosen, and both are very competitively priced. The service is both...friendly and highly professional: eating at La Belle Etolie feels like 'coming home'.More

The food is first class and the service exceptional. We all had different starters and different main meals and nobody was disappointed, they gave us a gazpacho and razor clams during the courses which was as excellent as the meals we had.

Sat outside on the terrace on a beautiful night and enjoyed a lovely meal served by a friendly, helpful gentleman. We were a party of 7 and everything we sampled from the menu was well prepared and very good. We all enjoyed our evening at...Belle Etoile very much. This restaurant offers very good food at an excellent value.More

Exceptional from start to finish. The food, the wine, the staff and the view. Would recommend reserving a table outside overlooking the Dordogne.

La Belle Etoile was recommended by a local host and it did not disappoint. The escargot fragranced with cep mushrooms was exquisite as was the guinea fowl stuffed with foie gras (tender, not dry - perfect) served with colorful delicious seasonal garden vegetables. Amuse bouche...included a yummy foamy cauliflower soup and a smoked trout ceviche . Attentive service - even the chef came out to ask how the food was . Will definitely return !More

My family really enjoyed a beautiful evening dining in this restaurant with a beautiful terrasse overlooking the Dordogne river. Saw hot air balloons drifting by. Nice sunset. Excellent food and service. Good value. Just wish the lighting on the terrasse isn’t white fluorescent lighting. Luckily...the sun sets late in the summer. Highly recommend this restaurant.More

This is the first visit to a restaurant following the loosening of Covid-19 restrictions in France and restaurants being open. There was no hesitation in picking La Belle Etoile as the place to go for our wedding anniversary lunch today and quite seriously - it...was outstanding!!!! Once again the cuisine, the service and the location delivered above our expectation. Every course was beautifully presented, generous proportions for a 'fine dining' experience and the team so lovely and welcoming. The lamb main was without doubt the best lamb we've experienced n France over the last 8 years. A must visit when in the region!More

I am sorry - wish I could help but do not recall the menu. However, you could likely email the restaurant. Since it is part of a hotel, I'm sure there is an email address you could find on their website.
