"O Dinis" is onde of those places you can only find if you're recommended by locals. It's not a fancy place, actually it's more like a simple, authentic restaurant. The food is great. I highly recommend "Chanfana" (a typical goat stew) and the grilled chicken...with oregano sauce - simply amazing. But any other option is a good option. The wine menu is not simple thought. "O Dinis" has an exquisite wine menu, with many Portuguese great wines at a very reasonable price. And what to say about the people that work there? I think the best compliment is this: I felt at home.More

Local, comfortable setting. Excellent food and service. I hear the wine is homemade and there is also wine by the bottle to buy and the owner will assist you. I felt as if I was at someone's home the atmosphere was so warm. The ladies...cooking were amazing and the servers so kind. We went twice. Hope to go again. First time we had grilled chicken, second time the beef. The bring you soup, salad, bread, and the deserts are terrific. Take your time. This is the real thing.More

Came here with family friends who live in the area and I was not at all disappointed. Had the mixed grill, soup and fruit salad - all lovely!! Homemade wine is very drinkable! Will return when back!

Been coming here since it opened and really cannot fault it for value for money. Fairly typical restaurant for this area but what really sets it apart is the red wine. It is literally my favorite. Service is efficient and for seven and a half...euros for lunch with wine it’s excellent value. I had the fish soup this time which I haven’t had before and it was absolutely deliciousMore
