    Wonderful Family Restaurant

    We loved our dinner, the family members who operate it and the experience. One of our best meals in Portugal!

    Quietly understated, squashed, and family run but probably best food of holiday

    Overlooking a (too?) busy Ribeira; we were lucky to get an unbooked table on the front of the veranda. Could have felt uncomfortable but we enjoyed the setting and the simple but excellent dishes. GVFM!

    A Grade - the name fits!

    Recommended by our nearby hotel, A Grade was great! We enjoyed fresh fish perfectly prepared. Nice outside dining area was a total positive, we shared our travel experiences with the couple dining next to us and made new friends. Thanks again A Grade!

    Good family owned restaurant

    Enjoyed this very casual and down to earth family run restaurant. Not easy to find, but worth the trip in the Ribeira district.

    Fabulous and authentic

    You simply must try this little restaurant. Best Octopus and Bacalhau a Bras you will find in Portugal. You need reservations... not a good place for a crowd. In a little alley, makes you feel a part of the Portuguese culture. DO NOT MISS THIS...More
