A gastronomical tasting treat (with service gaps unfortunately) alongside the Arno River in the countryside. The staff is good but need more expert training (or ideally a senior manager directing them). For example, we arrived 15 minutes early and were told to leave and return...haha. I asked if we could sit in the waiting area which was empty. The host relented and allowed us to do so. I am not a fussy diner; however, if I am at a Michelin 1 Star charging around $200 per person for a lunch & wine then I would expect that the wait staff would clean the table of crumbs from the bread. Did they ever? Not until we had completed dining. So for me service is good. As for the food, it is all fresh, well prepared, immaculately presented and of course tasty with a pleasure palate of diverse tastes. The atmosphere is pleasant especially a table overlooking the Arno below. The facility has a modern design. The value is off given the service gaps. Would I dine here again? Possibly. Would I recommend it to others? Yes, with the caveat about service that I mentioned.More

We had a fantastic evening at Terramira, it is such a lovely place & we felt really looked after. Great food and a great atmosphere, in a lovely spot overlooking the river. You can choose from two tasting menus or mix and match between the...two, which we did. We particularly enjoyed the trout dish starter and the desserts, but all the food was incredible. The wine pairings were also excellent.More

This was an unexpected find. The restaurant is not visible from the street. You need to go down a small walkway to find the restaurant. You enter and are greeted by staff who will take your coat. From there you enter the dining area which...has glass windows and a view of the river and bridge above. The staff are very attentive and the sommelier is very knowledgeable. They have a prix fixe menu that is outstanding. We were a group of 6 friends. There were 3 couples there on a Thursday evening. If you are looking for an upscale meal and good wine it would be hard to surpass Terramira.More

If you are at the address location big. Bange you do not find the little ally leading to the restaurant along the river. It is a small but cosy restaurant with great wines, too food and very nice personnel. Yes it is worth the journey!

Beautiful Dining Experience - you wouldnt expect such great cuisine in such a small village. But the Terramira team make the trip worthwhile. Great menu composition, innovative preparation and combinations, but always down to earth and based on trul great tastes. Definetly up for a...Michellin star, if they will ever find this hidden gem.More

Absolutely fantastic experience. Great location, Great service and not least outstanding food. We all chose the “Terra” menu variant. The Casentino trout was perfectly prepared, and the pigeon was so tender that it melted on my tongue. We witnessed a staff that were authentically focused...on giving us a great experience.More

For our last dinner of our holidays in august, we decided to eat at TERRAMIRA as we were staying at Arrezo. All reviews on Trip Advisor were very good so we took our car, drove 15km from Arrezzo, very easy and fast trip. Once we...reached the place we discovered a very nice restaurant in a old renovate house. Warm welcome of Lorenzo, the Somelier, who is the brother of the Chef Filippo From our table which has probably the best one in the room, we had very nice view on the river ARNO, the old bridge and the old town. We took the menus 5 courses TERRA and MARE at 65€ each and it was just amazing. We choose also and excellent italian white Wine which was a Campo delle Oche (San Lorenzo). Before the courses, the appetizers came composed with Puffed rice and spelt chips, Tacos filled with shrimp and cocktail sauce, Panzerotto (typical Napolitan fried bread dough) filled with tomato mozzarella and origan, Fried gonocco with ricotta cheese and Ham from Casentino then Roasted pork loin with burnt orange gel. Wonderful then the courses came, from the Sea for my Wife, From the Earth for me and the pictures attached can talk by themselves. For the end, Pre Desserts and Desserts composed with : Blackberries coulis, balckbarries icecream, whipped cream and chocolate crumble Tabacchiera peach icecream, Marinated Percoca peach, coulis of yellow peach, sheep yogurt foam and Timut pepper. Semifreddo truffle with Piedmont hazelnuts, matcha tea sponge, creamy hazelnuts, apricot coulis Petits fours (White chocolate pannacotta with passion fruit, Marinated pineapple and coconut candy, Bonbon with peanuts, caramel and Maldon salt) Excellent service from the beggining to the end. I am very surprised that this restaurant is (not yet) in the Michelin Guide but anyway, the mouth to mouth is also a good way to make the advertising about this very good address. It was an unforgettable diner Do not miss it et Bon Appétit !!More

Great! They serve a 5 / 6 / 7 course dinner from the earth (meat), sea or field (vegetarian). We dined twice in three days, with three children, which was no problem at all. Although the second time we were seated at a private dining...table.....:), which was perfect for us! Dishes are well prepared and when you start eating slower to postpone finishing your meal you know you are in the right place! Service was outstanding!More

What a wonderful little, hidden gem with fantastic views. The two young brothers offer an eclectic local menu with wines to match. Cozy yet modern. Everything on the menu was great from the saffron risotto to the sweetbreads and an amazing semifredo to close with.

Wow!! This was better than expected. Brothers Filippo and Lorenzo have established a first class restaurant, drawing on international experience and offering a beautiful environment, amazing food and an eclectic wine list. This is not your usual Italian fare - not the “homely” style. Very...special. And the dolce is amazing.More
