Steaks are always grilled to perfection and the waitresses are very friendly! We always have a great time at Kaminstubn! This restaurant is one of a kind !

Well, first of all, make a reservation here as in the weekends it is reserved up to 3 months ahead! We are lucky to get a table for 2 on short notice as it was not in the weekend. When we went to our table you first get an option for a salade, 3 variantions, small medium or large. Well, next time I will order large as I am very very curious how big this is, as small was already a big one!
then they pass by the with meat which you can choose (all without a price) and then it will be prepared in the middle of the restaurant on the grill. Perfectly prepared meat with a pure taste! your only choice is meat here, which is why you go to here, which is fantastic! this was the first but for sure not the last time.

This is a great little place (gets busy though so book) this place has a charm of its own, you wont find a menu here instead the waiter arrives with a selection of meat and explains each piece, you choose and they cook it on a grill in the middle of a room, each meal is accompanied by a salad and pototato of some kind, i believe there is a dessert selection also. good beer and wine i highly reccomend it, The steak i had from some french breed was delicious

Great experience at Kaminstubn. We arrived without reservation -- not recommended since the place seems to be always full. We managed to get two seats outside. The waitress was very friendly, kind and professional: nice table, with a candle and a rosemary plant on it as a flee repellent (just wonderful). The menu is simple: a salad first -- again, the waitress adviced us that the small portion was not that small at all, which was true -- and grilled meat after. We were shown a number of meat cuts, which you can choose from. The salad was light and tasty, the meat was perfectly cooked, the service was outstanding and the location simply beautiful. Wide choice of drinks -- not only beer, but also a limited but good list of wines, and also cocktails as an aperitif if one wants. We spent a great night out. Great place.

A Great country-style Steak/Chop/Game grill in a beautiful setting in Upper Bavaria.
Servers present a raw array of exotic cuts from which to choose which are then grilled on the earthen hearth located in the dining room.
A fantastic German salad is also available (in 2 sizes) for those who don't do the meat thing.
We brought some serious wine with us but also enjoyed the local strong Dunkel Weissbock beer pictured.
They do a wonderful job here. Can't wait to return!

We went out for dinner with friends again. It couldn't be more enjoyable, whether it was fillet, rib or entrecote, everything was cooked to perfection

The food was delicious, but the event, which came with a very high price, was marred by a very reserved and highly selective service. There are better options in the region
