Worst burger with worst Patty, lot of grease and potatoes that tasted like paper. All the food is industrial and fat. Very low quality and very bad taste. The waitress was nice that’s the only point.
Excellent meal. Lovely marble rye bread, large portions. Excellent HOMEMADE home fries! And delicious baking! Bistro like coffee if wanted.
Amazing staff, super friendly to talk to, and they always make sure you're looked after. Food was AMAZING and the warm cider is ESPECIALLY good on a cold morning. They also have a number of local beers which are awesome after a long day! Feels...More
One of my favorite places to stop for a coffee and hot sandwich to start my day when I am working on the cottage. They open early and have awesome baked goods available as well. Highly recommend this to all of my clients that rent...More
Walk through the doors and you are in a 50's style diner complete with the old chrome, vinyl and arborite tables and chairs! This is a licensed eatery serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and everything in between. They serve ice cream in cones and have an...More
We enjoyed an afternoon break; warmed up with a nice pot of tea & a homemade butter tart. Looks like there is a good menu available for any meal
We had read about Rachel's and our experience matched the positive reviews. The food was excellent and the service particularly good. The staff member handled multiple requests from customers stress-free. We had the soup and a sweet treat, as well as coffee. Wonderful!
Best butter tarts in town. Lots of choices for breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as for a coffee. Great music on Thursdays.
We stopped by twice. first for breakfast...pastry and lots of coffee. Lunch followed with pizza, sandwiches and great drinks.
During a recent road trip through the Bruce Peninsula, we did a bit of a butter tart tasting... Rachel’s was our first stop, in Lionhead. Took some time to be served, as the one person working the front of the house tended to some tables...More
Cute little spot with outdoor dining. With that said I have frequented a couple of times and would say service is slow at best. We were there on a busy night, we came with our patience knowing it would be busy but after 20 minutes...More
Okay Rachel's butter tarts are so good that they melt in your mouth and you feel like one is never enough. But how many butter tarts can one eat -- guilt guilt. Great little place for a light meal.
We had a late lunch here in July 2018. Rachel's is not the kind of place you will find in the city, but we liked it. We had delicious chicken wraps including The Marilyn. Service was friendly and informal. We took tarts and brownies to...More
We arrived at about 1:30 PM for lunch with a group of 7, expecting some delay as we would be after the main crowd for lunch. The place was buzy which speaks very well for its location in a tourist town. We got our order...More
