We were seated upstairs in the restaurant, a rather large room with no atmosphere. It was some time before we were offered both drinks and food and when the food did arrive we were not that impressed. The service was generally slow all evening. This...More

Absolutely lovely, friendly service and fabulous food. Definitely a place to go, we ended our meal with a cheese board something not on the menu but chef made it up, very enjoyable. Atmosphere felt like you were in family home. Would definitely return. 10/10

I really enjoyed my salad starter and salmon main. The sauce was of particularly good quality and taste. Service was a bit slow sometimes but overall a positve experience.

This restaurant offers very good food but our meal was spoilt by easily avoidable things. Most significantly we should have been warned that they intended to seat the two of us in a room with a large party who were shouting across the table making...More

You can also park at the dolphin just over the river, it's £2 all day then walk over the bridge and it's on the river front.

17/05/13Customer NameAlma & Bruno Herzog thought it was about time to drop a line of recognition after all the wonderfull meals we had with you. The staff of Amore (and especially the chef/owner Marin) are truely devoted to their job. It is a rare thing that you will never ever get disapointed when you visit a certain restaurant regulary. Amore is one of those rare ones. Whatever we had was exellent and could be seved in the best places anywhere. One of the dishes I always fall in love again is the Linguini with the best seafood you could expect in a pasta dish. The squids are absolutly divine tender (rare to find anywhere else), the mussles and shrimps of the higest quality
