Went to the cafe today with my partner and toddler. Cafe is nicely decorated with plenty of seating. Dog friendly also which helped to keep little one entertained. Staff were friendly, good service. Food was ready nice! Also connected to the craft shop so we...were able to have a look round after our meal.More
Lunch for 3, lovely green wall with roses and illuminated sign, nice decor. The cappuccinos were all spot on and they were decaf with plenty of taste. The chilli on the nice baked potato was OK at best, the tomato and pepper soup was dreadful...(rank I probably said on the day). It was inedible, bitter with strong dried basil. It had some softened diced peppers ; other than that it was canned chopped tomatoes and maybe tomatoe puree. It wasn't blended so anyone could see and taste what it was, just these items stirred and heated through at some pount. What it was not was soup! and not nice. It was served barely warm, tepid but that was by the by as I couldn't eat it. My partner tasted it too and grimaced. The lady didn't clear the table while we where there, she was busy on the computer, I did stop and volunteer the feedback to pass on as no one at any point asked if everything was OK . Only 2 tables had people, I said I wasn't actually complaining but asking her to give feedback to the person cooking, as it was just horrible and suggesting she taste it. I think that fell on deaf ears. I even offered to bring them a nice recipe if they wanted, she did say sorry. If I owned this place I would be seriously unhappy if this was being served. I cannot think the owner approved this recipe. Would have a coffee but never eat here again. Cannot recommend the food we had at the hornsea branch. Shame as we like to eat in Hornsea quite oftenMore
I had a toastie & a coffee Cant fault it, was yummy. Friendly staff & great location. Reasonable prices too thank you very much😊
Great menu, lovely staff, relaxed atmosphere and dog friendly. They also serve an all day breakfast with generous portions. Great wee holiday find 😊
Fell upon this cafe for a coffee and cake. Very friendly young staff who were only too pleased to help. Sat outside in the sun . Well managed Covid measures. In all a handy place for a quick coffee
Lovely dog friendly local cafe. Relaxed atmosphere. Worth a visit for a light meal or snack. Constantly being improved and updated. Great place to meet up with friends.
We went in for a cuppa and a Coffe. We also had a slice of Victoria sponge and a Rocky Mountain it was delicious. The cafe is so clean as are the toilets, all safety in place will definitely be going back. Thank you.
Always nice to find a cafe that follows through on being dog friendly, not just pretending. Arrived just after 3 so kitchen had shut but a very nice coffee and cake went down well.
We stopped by for a late afternoon coffee and cake and I was surprised and pleased to see so many gluten free choices on the menu. I am Coeliac so I like to make a note of places I can eat at fairly locally. My...gf Victoria sponge was delicious and I will definitely be back for a savoury lunch in the near future. Dog friendly too.More
My wife and I popped in to what advertised itself as an ice cream parlour today (Friday 24 July 2020) at 2pm. The shop was due to close at 4pm. A young woman asked us what we'd like. We told her that we'd like to...come in and have an ice cream sundae. She replied that unfortunately the kitchen had just closed. Er, okay. We told her that we didn't want any hot food but we'd like an ice cream sundae. My wife was particularly keen on trying the Biskoff ice cream, one of a pretty impressive range of flavours in the display just as you walk in. The girl looked at us rather blankly and then told us that she was sorry but she didn't think she had anything to put in a sundae. My wife replied 'you don't THINK you have? to which the girl replied. 'No'. She continued to look at us and then offered us a cone. We left as we were utterly baffled as to how a place that advertises itself as being an ice cream parlour and which had, literally, at least a dozen different ice creams actually on display told us that they had nothing they could put in a sundae. Utterly bizarre.More
On our Friday morning visit it was very popular with ladies over 40, some knitting in a circle, others in pairs or groups. It's a lovely venue with friendly staff, but the menu needs updating to match the modern premises.
Found this place as we walked round hornsea on our holiday. The food was great as was the service. My son absolutely loved the milkshake.
After looking for a place to warm up on a cold day in Hornsea we came across this little gem of a cafe. The fruit smoothie and hot chocolate were delicious. The two girls who were on shift are a credit to the cafe, one...was cooking food in the kitchen and the other taking orders and making drinks, they provided good service with a smile and even brought some toys to the table for our little ones!More
