I have been visiting Montagu for more that 15 years. This is a new restaurant and have exceeded every expectation for a Sunday Lunch. The decor is beautiful, the service is very good and the food just amazing.

Wow! This may be one of the most beautiful restaurants in South Africa. The decor is chic and tasteful. Service is great, with the waiters and kitchen staff providing some live music, done very professionally. The food is excellent - I had the Caesar Salad...and it was delicious. The view from the terrace is spectacular. Don’t miss this place!More

My wife and I have travelled through Montagu for the past 15 years and invariably stop off for a snack or refreshment ..... on many occasions over the last few years we have watched with interest what we thought was just another winery ( Route...62 is the LONGEST wine route in the world!!) Last week we popped in to BLU Vines, parked the car in the carpark and walked the 50 odd meters to the restaurant and WOW .......I have been blessed to travel to some 40 plus countries around the world and seen some amazing spaces ( and of course in Paris, London or New York one expects WOW moments but what Richard has created in the beautiful small town of Montagu is in a word AMAZING The location, the views, the decor, the art, the ambience ...... do yourself a favour and if and when you pass through it is a must-see Take care Richard and your team of 'stars' .... you can be justifiably proud!!!! We WILL be back on every trip for a drink or bite ...... risk is we won't want to leave and CT or home in Oudtshoorn still 200 k's away Errol and VenitaMore

A rather chic and nicely decorated wine bar and restauant located in a beautiful setting. Nice choice of inside/outside seating options offering lovely views. Service was good, staff friendly and efficient and food was decent. The wine list is dictated by the local Mimosa Winery...offerings with a rather opulent wine tasting room. An enjoyable afternoon. Recommended. Odd to have to walk ouside and away from the main building to get to the restrooms - won't be fun when it rainsMore

What a fabulous little spot we happily found for lunch! Fabulous food & great service. Sitting outside next to the lucern field, with incredible views of the mountains, sipping a fabulous Chardonnay! Love this contemporary setting on the patio. Everything is designed to sit and...relax with a feeling of stay a while. They even have games like back gammon waiting for you on the tables in front of the stay longer outside couches. Perfect place for a meal and to share a bottle of wine. We will def be back!More

We recently stopped for a coffee at this establishment and were quite blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the different seating options or areas within the restaurant and the absolutely beautiful decor. We loved the stories behind the colours and furniture as well...as the attention to all aesthetic detail. The fact that it was dog friendly truly elevated our experience.More

Beautiful environ, decor, friendly talented singing waiters. Expected Moroccan chicken ( chicken snitchzel with cheese sauce) to be as lovely. Regrettably this was bland, not Morrocon with authentic fragrant spices. Lamb shank was also too bland. Portions are generous however.
