We were booked on by our hotel and had no regrets! We got to see Bruno and his dogs hunt truffles and then enjoy a simple Italian meal afterwards for €40. Such a beautiful location and so interesting to learn about truffles.

Very nice experience on an August evening. The view from this restaurant is breathtaking, the food is prepared with care, high quality local produce and a touch of creativity and, last but not least, the service is welcoming and professional. What else could one ask...for?More

This restaurant , based amid a prime black truffle ground, surprised us recently during a prix fixe lunch and truffle hunt—the best dish we tried (by far!) was the grilled steak (tagliata) ordered by our daughter. The pre-lunch truffle hunt was brief, somewhat informative but...not much of an activity really. The dogs enthusiastically dug up a dozen or so truffles in half an hour (they clearly are barking up the right tree) and then on to lunch. The truffle set menu was sort of boring and repetitive , not to mention salty and not inexpensive at 80 EUR for lunch. Scrambled eggs w truffles, mozzarella w trufffles, spaghetti w truffles, etc. The stars of the meal were actually a grilled tagliata (sans truffles) and a clafouti with apricots (also free of truffles). The beautiful views of the Umbrian countryside aren’t so bad, either :). So, unexpectedly, a pretty good restaurant. but, I’d recommend looking outside the (truffle) box.More

After a demonstration of truffle hunting with dogs, we start with prosceco with a plate of truffle mushrooms on brioche. Truffle cheese, and salami. Next scrambled eggs with truffle and then pork with truffle(tasty, but tough). Pasta with truffle and the dessert strawberry and cheesy...combo. Dinner to remember - if you like truffles.More

We visited again after the restaurant's refurbishing. Loved the new decor and the old Rose colored velvet chairs are so comfortable. The food was sublime, you don't want to finish each dish as it comes out. The tastes just keep unveiling themselves as you eat....Each course is truffle based, so obviously this is not the place to come if you don't like truffles. They have a really good wine list and the Maitre is not only very pleasant but also really informative. I can't praise this place enough. The service is excellent and there is also a lovely view from the large terrace. You have to book in advance, it's a set menu and the quality/price ratio is excellent.More
