Overpriced

Food is ok for farang food in laos. The place us tiny and serves local VIP and snobs occasionally. Perhaps not to recommend to tourists unless italian and homesick. Although italian would perhaps find it wanting.

Twice in four days

Good restaurant, tasty pizza and Italian dishes. Staff were very helpful especially the chef who spoke English. Small kitchen, friendly good service so we went 2x while in Phonsavan. Would definitely go back!

Puzzling and Not Welcoming

We arrived around 5:15 PM intrigued to try the number one rated restaurant in Phansavan - There was already a small group waiting outside on Saturday evening a bit confused as to if the restaurant was opening tonight. The sign on the door indicated it...would open at 5:00 PM We proceeded to knock on the glass to get the attention of the girl observed working behind the bar - The girl noted us all outside, rudely glanced at us, and then ignored us all by turning away - After a second knock on the door, perplexed as to why she had not acknowledged us, the girl again looked up made a face at us and kept working for a another minute or so and then walked away through a door! We waited for her to return for a good five minutes or so – she did not return! Puzzled as to if the restaurant was even opening that night and dismayed by the apparent rudeness of the female staffer, the five of us gave up and left for alternative eating venues......... Would we ever return - not a chance based on the apparent rude staffer who could have at least had the decency to explain if they were opening that night or advised us of a delayed opening etc.More

Fantastic food when you need more than noodle soup

They say the best continental food is in Louang Prabang, not true. We found this gem just when another night of noodle soup would not do. Fire baked pizzas homemade pastas imported cheese and salamis and a great wine selection. All wrapped up in a...nice cozy warm atmosphere. A little pricey but worth every KIP.More

Great Pizza place in Phonsavan

The food is great, really really Italian and they have excellent Italian wines . We had capricciosa pizza what was amazing with a bottle of pinot grigio .

Best restaurant in Phonsavan

We eat twice there and the pizzas was amazing. We had a pretty low expectation when we went first night for dinner , but a great surprise .

Yummy and needed.

Thank goodness for this restaurant. The food was delicious and so was the wine. We had no issues with service or with the wrong order being brought to us. I would definitely eat here again if I were in town in future.

Really good pizza

Good pizza. Prices a little higher than in other restaurants around which most likely stems from the special non-Asian ingredients (such as cheese).

Fawlty Towers without the charm

Fawlty Towers without the charm Rude, disorganised & disinterested The chef was surly and quite honestly gave the impression of not caring about customers. We were one of 3 tables. They screwed up most of the drinks & wine. The 2 waitresses looked terrified or...confused and spoke no English. Absolutely not an issue had the chef explained this or even cared. Service from him was slow, full of excuses and rude. The restaurants seats 30+ but he explained his kitchen was small & he couldn’t cater for more than 5+ at one time. He explained to the table behind us that their burned food was as a result of too many orders. Wtf? Why accept a table of 7 then at the same time as our table? Result? Chaos. Even the pizzas were wrong. No apology at all from the chef. Once his friend/boss who knows turned up he suddenly started to pretend to care, at least with one table he had screwed up. The pizza (version 2 as v1 was totally wrong) was decent. Can’t recommend at all.More

Life saviour

In the town with almost no restaurants this Italian place is like a glass of fresh water. Wonderful pizzas, everything very fresh and tasty, nice cold beer, quite attentive waitresses. Came back twice and really enjoyed it.

Is this restaurant located in the town centre? I will be in Phosavan on Sept.11, 2019 so I would definitely like to try this place.

Yes, it is very close to the Anoulak Hotel. I would call this town centre, doesn´t look like one but most shops, bars and restaurants are there. Don´t expect too much from this village.
