People work here are local nice people. I am not too much into the kind of doughnut sweet. My friend who is Hawaiian local, she took me here and we had some very hot doughnuts which called Malasadas (I think im correct) freshly made. I love them although i am not into sugar eating personally. Must have rental car, it... More

This place is an institution. Malasadas are a definite food item to try. Buy a dozen plain or try the daily special (we had macadamia creme.) All made to order. Hot out of the cooker. You really can't say you have experienced Honolulu if you haven't been here.

Do you like donuts ? If you answered yes , you have to go to Leonard's Bakery. Their donuts are unlike the ones you can purchase at Duncan Donuts or your local bakery . Leonard's Bakery donuts are from a Portuguese recipe and are light and delicious . Covered with sugar , they can be plain or filled with jelly... More

This place was packed with tourists! Pretty good malasadas--lots of sugar and delicious soft bread! The cream filling was good too, not too sweet.

We stopped by Leonard's Bakery Hot Malasadas Truck after a morning of snorkeling. We had some plain with cinnamon and sugar and some filled with coconut cream. They were so warm, soft and yummy!

Stopped here as part of Matthew Grey's "hole in the wall tour" for a final treat. Never had "donuts" like these before! Sweet dough fried just right with various coatings or fillings. I had the original and it was terrific!

Long line up, I think we waited about 25 minutes. It was yummy, but I don't know if I'd do the wait again.

If you want something baked, sweet and with a lot of flavours take a trip to leonard's bakery. We loved leonard's malasadas, and definitely are the best in town. Fresh made, even hot and filled with everything you want:chocolate,vanilla,rasberry..as an advice..take also the simple ones..are great! It was a walking trip from our hotel to the bakery but we did not regret! And... More

Considering all of the history this small bakery has seen since 1952, it's remarkable that they have continued serving delicious pastries to countless patrons and they are still at it! Malasadas are definitely their specialty and for a good reason, they're awesome! My wife calls them a scone from the heavens! Light and fluffy, they're a round baseball size donut... More

When you visit Oahu, one of the must do's on the list is leonard's bakery! Delightful little puffs of heaven is the best way to describe these delights that come with a range of flavoured fillings!
