If you're looking for a tasty twist on the common donut, you need to visit Leonard's. Original, cinnamon, filled, not-filled, I've yet to meet a malasada I didn't like. It's an easy mile and a half walk from Waikiki and while generally crowded, the staff...More

Great service, one of our favorite places to stop for a treat with our granddaughters. We each tried a different flavor and they were the best malasadas we'd ever tasted!

Of course Leonard's is known for those yummy hot pieces of heaven, also known as malasadas but we also love to get their other Portuguese sweet bread options, chocolate peanut butter brownie bites and mac nut brownies! Their coffee and cold drinks are the perfect...More

A short drive out of downtown waikiki is Leonard's bakery. Look for the quirky fifties style signage and a line of hungry punters queueing out the door. The line moves quickly though and just as well, as your mouth is watering at the scent of...More

I used to live really close to Leonards and never tried it until I recently went back with my family to visit relatives. We made a stop and got a dozen malasadas w/ custard to go. Leonards boasts that they make all malasadas to order...More

We tasted the original and stuffed "donuts". A bit pricey but worth it if you purchase the six count! Yum!!

We chose three, no not just for us but as gift, well yes one for us. We bought the assorted, sugar, cinnamon, and Li Hing. Although they have other bakery items and filled malasadas we just wanted the basic, puffy, soft, warm ones. Parking is...More

There is a reason for the line at Leonard's. The parking there is also very limited so it's good to have a backup plan for someone to take one for the team and stand if there's no parking there. Their filled malasadas are served warm,...More

I went in early one morning on a Friday and the lady who took my order was not a morning person. I asked her to mix a dozen different malasadas for me and she acted like it was the hardest thing ever. I would've paid...More

I don't think so. They are known for the malasadas. That's why most people go to Leonsrds. Something you can't get on the mainland.
