My first visit to an actual Paula's location was to purchase their specialty donut for the 2020 Hospice fundraiser. The small parking lot was pretty full, but I was able to get a spot as someone was exiting. Customer service was outstandingly fast. Donuts were fresh, unique, over-sized and such a delicious treat. The office staff really enjoyed them, with a couple of us struggling to finish an entire donut. They stay fresh an extra day if you wrap them in saran wrap and place in the fridge. Looking forward to sharing in the Paula's donut experience again.

The line system they have is chaotic and unorganized but the baked goods obviously keep me coming back regardless even though I dread that part. The staff isn't very friendly but I guess with how busy they are they just need you to get in and out without much interaction,I always come with a prepared list because I've seen how sour they get when people lallygag. It would be awesome if they did a online service to order and pickup to avoid some of the chaos.

My entire family gets that wide-eyed look of pure joy at the mere suggestion of stopping in to buy some Paula's Donuts! They are without a doubt one of the most overthetop, over stuffed, overwhelmingly delicious baked good available locally. Not only do they provide a wide variety of old favorite flavors, but introduce new featured items that keep the selection new and exciting. The donuts are always impeccably fresh and nicely displayed. The Paula's Donut's employees are surprisingly quick and efficient in helping with making your selections too. A really nice treat to purchase for home, for office, or events, you can't go wrong, as they will be a hit!

On Monday January 18, 2021 I called the Clarence store. A man answered the phone and abruptly said hold on and put the phone down. The line was open and you could hear the staff and customers talking. After 8 minutes no one had picked up the phone, so I hung up and called back. The same guy answered and did the same thing saying hold and put the phone down. I hung up and called back. A female answered the phone and asked if she could help me. I ordered a dozen donuts, and paid for them on the phone. When I arrived 20 minutes later, I went to the counter where it said for prepaid customer pickup. There was a customer waiting to the side. No one came to assist in the meantime 2 more prepaid customers came in behind me. There was a male employee behind the counter making some sandwiches, after about 5 - 6 minutes he came down to the end of the counter and gave the sandwiches to the man who was waiting to the side, then he asked the customer something and went back up where he was making the sandwiches and was getting blenders of ice to make some kind of drinks for the same customer. I then asked the employee if there was someone who could hand us the prepaid donuts. He said yeah, me when I am done I will give them to you, he is waiting too (pointing to the customer) and he proceeded to make the drinks. When he finally got done making the order for the customer who obviously did not order ahead, the employee came over and said what is your phone number and he just about threw the donuts at me and never said sorry for the wait, thank you or nothing. The whole situation from my first phone call to the end was very disheartening and I don't plan on going back. It was definitely customer service at it's worst. This guy definitely needs training, and could have avoid the whole thing by stopping for a minute to hand 3 people their donuts that where sitting right on the counter and were prepaid. He was a very nasty person, and don't deserve to work with customers. He was wearing black nylon shorts. I hope you will find out who this was and tell him not to treat people like he did me. I preordered so I would not have to be in line with people for Covid precautions and this guy forced me to stand in line with 4 other people shoulder to shoulder, as well as there were at least 15 people if not more in the restaurant shoulder to shoulder in the non-prepaid line.

My wife and I recently stopped in to get a couple of donuts for the road and were totally shocked how much smaller they have become....... If Paula's are going to make smaller donuts, it is only fair to adjust the price down. Will no longer make a special effort to get donuts from Paula's anymore since they have shrunk in size and the price remains the same. Very disappointed but typical business tactics.

Heard about Paula's Donuts so was in the area and thought we would stop. Very busy place but there was a staff person at the door directing people to remain socially distanced by standing on the tape placed on the floor. My husband & I each ordered the 2 donut & coffee special. 2 donuts was plenty for 1 person. Husband ordered a peanut donut and chocolate filled. The peanut donut was great but the filled one actually was hard/crusty on the outside- almost to the point of being stale. I ordered a jelly donut and cherry donut. Jelly donut was filled with alot more jelly than most donuts are and cherry one tasted really good. Overall donuts were better than the local Dunkin but in our travels we have had others that tasted as good or better. If we are near a Paula's we probably would stop but wouldn't go out of the way to find one.

Once you've gone to Paula's, you'll never want to go anywhere else again! I for one, will not eat donuts anywhere...unless they are from Paula's. Luckily (and maybe unluckily...haha), I live about 5 minutes from one of her locations. Paula has now branched out to three different locations in the Western New York area.
Her donuts don't disappoint! They are ginormous, filling and taste scrumptious!! They always have a LARGE selection of donuts, fresh! Anytime you enter Paula's, there is a line (sometimes short, sometimes really long and out the door). My daughter is a fan of her pastries and I for one am also a fan of her HUGE cinnamon rolls.
If you venture out to Paula's, make sure you have an appetite and try the peanut stick - It's my favorite!

Usually Paula donuts is spot on! Put Swiss on my breakfast bagel instead of provolone gave me something that was not a cheese danish and I totally did not get my coffee. My daughter-in-law picked this up and she did not know exactly well she would’ve said something before she left the building, very disappointed.

I LOVE a good donut. I live in Arkansas and there’s no such thing as a good donut in the state. My only satisfaction typically comes when I go to North Carolina for company treating and can visit Duck Donuts. Happened to see an ad for Paula’s in the airport here and had to visit. Best choice I made during my visit to the area. Truly the only fault I can with the place is that I wanted to try every donut but each one’s the size of a Big Mac. I bought four which was way too many. Couldn’t finish any of them but all four were amazing.

Paula’s Donuts was a great treat! We stopped in for something to tide us over. My sausage, egg & cheese on a hard roll was smaller than normal, but they know better, as it was the perfect portion and delicious!! We grabbed coffee (good) and had a couple Honeydip donuts. They were light, fresh & flavorful. We selected a couple of other flavors to take with us. We would definitely recommend Paula’s and hope to pick up more on our way home!

Went to West Seneca location and the staff working were the most miserable people. Trying to but special donut and were sold out. Then when asked for another type there weren’t any available and was told I can go make some if you want. Seemed like we were bothering them to do their job. If you don’t like dealing with people stay out of customer service and servicing people. Since they have expanded to other location quality and service has gotten worse. If you want a donut there are other options.

I moved away from Buffalo about 2 years ago. I definitely don't feel nostalgia for much. But every so often when I visit the local donut shop in my new hometown or visit Dunkin Donuts, I can't help to miss this place. I especially miss getting a dozen late at night when I've been studying all night for finals. Can't wait to visit when I'm back in the area.

After stopping here, I won’t be able to go back to Dunkin’ or Tim Horton’s again. Loved the variety and quality of donuts. The quick wait outside was well worth it. Never took pictures of the actual donuts because we ate them so quick.

This is our third visit to Paula’s and as always it did not disappoint. We travel from Syracuse to Buffalo here and there and if we are around for breakfast, Paula’s Donuts is always in the top of our list for breakfast. Great local spot with a huge selection and quick and efficient service.

What can I say beyond YUMMY!! Best donuts. They are huge & stuffed with so much filling it oozes out of it. Small store, always crowded. Fast & friendly service. Limited waiting time. Just enough to find more than you came in for.😄 Peoplele will drive for miles for them. It is a destination point. Enjoy.
