My sister has lived in Albuquerque for years and on my last visit she swore by ABC bakery. In fact, my nephew was going to use them for the wedding cake I volunteered to sponsor for his wedding. We were going to do the cake...tasting and then the wedding was cancelled, so I opted for my own tasting. I had to drag my sister, kicking and screaming of course, to go do a sampling. We bought cookies, eclairs, and cupcakes to make a perfect Tuesday. I have to say, maybe it was just built up too much? The cookies were over cooked and dry and the cupcakes left us wanting. It was OK. The yummy middle stuff of the eclair had no flavor. Even she was disappointed, but insisted that their cakes are the way to go. So, next time I think I’ll just have to invest the money in a really expensive cake to see if it’s worth all the hype… Why did I give it three stars? Because my sister has taste in her mouth and I’m banking on her prior experiences. Or I’m baking on her prior experiences? Let me know!More

We LOVE ABC!! Not only are the cakes beautiful, they are delicious!! They can make your design or choose from their large selection. If not cake, they have a wide selection of pastries and cookies which are equally as delicious! The service was friendly, receptive...and very professional. Prices are perfect for everything you get. This is our go-to bakery for custom cakes!!More

Ordered a cake from our favorite bakery only to find they have changed the frosting! What was once the best part of an ABC cake is not mundane. It can easily be replaced by a grocery store cake. After 30 years of getting our cakes...here we will not return.More

I try to avoid this place at all costs due to repeatedly poor service and general incompetence. In a pinch, I ordered 2 dozen soccer ball cookies, an easy enough order. When I called to confirm they were ready I was told there was no...record of my order. So there will not be any cookies at the soccer party this is not the end of the world, had it been a larger event of more significance this could be a real problem.More

This was once a great bakery but is now a ripoff as they take NO pride in their offerings. Take you he'd earned money somewhere else if you want quality!

I ordered a 1/4 sheet cake over the phone and was read the correct order back. When I arrived to pick up the cake, I was given a 1/2 sheet and charged for it. When I explained that I had only ordered a 1/4 sheet...and will pay for the 1/4 sheet, I was told I could come back six hours later when a corrected cake would be ready. I live 50 miles away and this was not possible. I was told that the only two options were to come back or pay for the 1/2 sheet. Needless to say, I will NOT be back and will let everyone I know hear about the terrible customer service at this business. I order many cakes throughout the year for work, looks like I'll be looking for a new bakery.More

Yum is all I can say! I would recommend everything in this bakery. Cupcakes are gorgeous and so are the cakes.
