We recently moved from northern New Jersey and absolutely love Thai and Malaysian food. Since we have no access to quality Asian food, we tried Malay as the reviews were outstanding. Unfortunately, we had an absolutely terrible meal. All four of us gave it 1-star...and we’re confounded as to how the food could have been that bad and that far off from authentic Thai and Malaysian cuisine. My go-to spot in Morristown!

Excellent food in a pleasant environment.

We had the roti, soup, and a seafood dish. The food was tasty and fresh. The vegetables were crispy. Service was friendly and fast.

I’ve been here twice now and the food is sooo good!! Service is great also and people are very nice and attentive. Smaller space but simple and comfortable. BYOB is a plus as well. Definitely plan to be back 😊

Sidewalk dining

After returning from the dog park we needed outdoor seating. This place has great food. Remember to bring your own booze. I had the pineapple fried rice with chicken.

My first Thai experience

Authentic, fresh the best Thai for miles.

Always a fabulous meal. A strong recommendation for a delicious meal in Morristown. This city is filled with OK restaurants and a few gems Malay is one of them. There are at least 3 or 4 Thai restaurants but none is so authentic, fresh and...delicious. We had Coconut Shrimp, Tom Yum Gai Soup, Steamed Dumplings and Lemon Grass Chicken. We made a reservation on a Sunday evening which I would recommend as it eventually filled to capacity. You can't go wrong here. Restaurant is a BYO.More

Consistently really good

Always really good food. Good for families groups or couples. Service is friendly and fast. One of the top Asian places in Morristown.
