During our stay in Peniscola we ate here 4 times and every time the products were fresh, they came fast and the plates were and they had a nice plating. Everything tasted great. What is even more important is that they tasted the same everytine we ordered. We tried the octopus, squid, grilled vegetables, calamari, monkfish and the the tuna steak. We also tried the catalan cream and their sangria. The calamari rings were really tender and the squid with romesco sauce had a great depth and were nicely cooked. For us the portion size was enough and ordering 3 plates for 2 persons was more than enough. You can see the time they put in delivering the dishes as the plating for the squid looks exquisite. They plate it with small peppers and little flowers and it really looks amazing. For us it was the best restaurant during our stay and we are looking forward in dining here again

We went to dinner at this place motivated by the proximity to our accommodation and by the good opinions and the truth is that it proved a success. From the sangria we had at the beginning, to the grilled octopus, the cuttlefish, well served and very good dishes! Some friends took the illa rice. And more than delighted!! I had a sirloin and apart from the exquisite flavor, the quality of the meat was exceptional and accompanied by grilled vegetables just right! At dessert time we told the waiters that it was the birthday of one of us and, out of courtesy of the house, they all came out applauding and singing happy birthday to him, giving him a piece of cheesecake that was very good (you can tell it's homemade). It was a very fun moment and a detail that we greatly appreciated! I really want to return to Peñiscola to stop by here to try that Señoret rice that so many people like!! We went to eat seafood paella and coquinas after a day at the beach and everything was perfect.
