Superb service, delicious food, and a wonderful atmosphere! I had the the 3 cheese platter as my appetizer …pecan encrusted fish, then the bread pudding soufflé 😳😋. SO stuffed but worth every CALORIE! Josh was our awesome waiter, and Christal was his assistant. The service...reminded me of our top rated service on a Disney cruise.❤️More

Definitely a good meal. Turtle soup is really “that good”. Entrees were good. Service was good, but not excellent. Perhaps some staffing post-Covid? Just FYI, we ate here for dinner and the ladies were all in dresses/slacks and most of the men were wearing a...jacket. Employees were all very nice and welcoming.More

Commander’s Palace is a must when vacationing in New Orleans. The pecan crusted fish was fabulous. The soufflé was delightful. I swear the guy at the next table was BUCK from 9-1-1 minus the mark by his eye. There are Celebrities in New Orleans you...see occasionally.More

Best meal we had in New Orleans. I don’t know where to start… probably the best overall restaurant experience of my life. The turtle soup was like a college math class… didn’t want to do it, but once I did, I thought differently. Tornados of...beef- the sauce- insane. Get the praline sundae (off menu). They play jazz at your table and the kitchen is open if you want to go in and see behind the scenes. This place believes in themselves and they should. Our server took our menus before we had a chance to order and asked us how daring we were…. I’m a control freak and was real nervous because I had been thinking about this place since before the pandemic…. Thank you Robert! You did not disappoint. Can’t wait to see y’all again. Go to Commanders Palace!!! Enjoy.More

If you’re looking for a classic creole dinner this is the place. A bit traditional and conservative interior but food very well prepared.

A NOLA icon . Charming place excellent service and a excellent rum selection. Food was good ,but not what I remembered . Of course that was 60 years ago. Definitely a experience of gracious Southern hospitality . If this is first time in NOLA ,it...is probably worth a visit .More

Everything you hear and read tells you it’s not to be missed, and they’re right. From the warm welcome when you enter; the amazing service (thank you Jared) and the beautifully presented and delicious food, it was simply a wonderful evening. And don’t forget dessert!...A trip to New Orleans would not be complete without a visit.More

I've dreamt of eating at Commanders Palace for a long time. It was well worth the wait. The food was incredible (don't miss the Shrip Tasso Henican... it was maybe my favorite single bite of food ever). Nash and Townsend were the best waiters. They...made our evening even better with topnotch service and humor. It was everything I'd hoped for and more.More

While pricey, the food and service are top notch. The second floor room overlooking the garden area is a wonderful place to enjoy dinner.

Yes! Went during lunch 2 weeks ago. Not sure if that's available other time (ex dinner or brunch), but they definitely have it for lunch. Limit 3 per person with entree order

They are loosening the dress code enforcement. A jacket is preferred but not mandatory. I wore a collared shirt/no jacket and was fine.
