We stopped into Evangeline twice in a week, as a couple and with business colleagues. Both times we were lucky enough to hit happy hour, with $3 beers and $5 cocktails. The service was excellent both times, and the food was uniformly great, especially the...More

We stopped in here for drinks because it was across the street from our hotel, and quickly became regulars. I can recommend the hurricane, because I had one every day, and my husband enjoyed the Moscow mules. We liked the ambiance so much that we...More

I ordered food here, to go, because I wanted to have a nice evening, at my VRBO, with my wife. The food came quickly, and I enjoyed the atmosphere, while I waited. I ordered three entrees, so my wife and I could mix and match...More

A cost restaurant with good live music. The personal were quite friendly and took the time to walk you through the menu. Unfortunately at the time I was there, all the alligator dishes were sold out. So I was stuck with some crawfish. The dish...More

Evangeline is probably a little under the radar kind of place. Good location on Decatur Street, but you could walk by it and never think to go in. We had a group of 6 people for lunch. Drinks and entrees were very good. I had...More

We visited for a Friday night dinner when the restaurant had music. The food was fabulous...we came back the following night to try two different menu items! I would strongly recommend Evangeline

Stopped in and tried their pork sliders - really good! Side of sweet potato fries also made well. Staff is friendly.

I stopped in here for a quick dinner and had pretty good Crawfish etouffee. If you want a laid back place to eat this is your spot. It's small with a full length bar and a few tables.

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living

of call for folks in search of a good time and a great
story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs
across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied

No. When we called to ask, they said it was not necessary. I would call, just in case. Be aware they are closed Mo It is really just a bar with very good food.
