Loved this warung. Amazing food, decor and staff. The steamed fish and rice was great and light. The prawn curry was delicious, my daughter had it twice. I recommend eating there if you're staying at Taman Sari, it's only a couple of minutes walk away.

Love this warung! Thank you Gustut and Made for such a warm welcome on all our visits with Pat and Dennis, and for the wonderful food. For groups I'd definitely recommend the rice table... it's like Balinese tapas 😁

We went to dinner twice, and I ordered twice the fou yong hai. So delicious. And her son and rest of the family sometimes play guitar and sing beautifully, which makes such a lovely add warm atmosphere. Then we saw we could learn to cook...a rijstafel here as well. It was especially tailored for us to be vegetarian (with use of eggs). This class was soo lovely, I learnt so many cherished dishes, I feel it's a little less sad to leave Bali in two days, because I can take a little piece of it home! When we arrived, the table was already set with all the ingredients. You learn everything from scratch and in two hours we magicked a rice table with 6 different vegetarian dishes. Foo yong hai (which we learnt is actually Chinese), fried corn cookies, a vegetable curry, Tempe Manis, steamed tofu with vegetables, vegetables with coconut rasp, and the famous green pandan pancakes with palm sugar and grated coconut. Madi is so lovely (and the rest of her family as well). She speaks very good English, we got the recipes on paper, we got to eat everything afterwards, it tasted so good. And she explains it all very well. I am truly so happy, this was one of the best Bali experiences of our vacation.More

This is a small restaurant on the road leading down to Taman Sari Resort. The decor is eclectic and the menu varied. They were able to accommodate the needs of our Vegan friend. The staff are very friendly and happy to help. Really enjoyed the...lumpia and gado gado for lunch. Would definitely go there again.More
