Casual dining with extraordinary food! After a day of Battlefield Sightseeing, we got in for an early dinner around 5 p.m. on a Friday just as it was filling up. We had a great meal; the turkey panini sandwich with apple butter served with the...More

This is a very small restaurant with wonderful food. I had the salmon which was cooked medium rare with seasonal zucchini and balsamic reduction-yum! It is BYOB restaurant which does not charge a corking fee. The service was attentive and friendly. They do not take...More

This was an interesting experience. BYOB! So, I had to walk across the street to the winery store to pick a bottle of wine and bring it back to the restaurant. They opened and served it very nicely (at no charge). The menu is creative,...More

Lucky find in Gettysburg. Best meal i’ve had in weeks. Friendly staff and well prepared food. Truffle fries were outrageous. Salmon Ratatouille with zucchini was fresh and really well prepared. Wish I lived closer.

We couldn't find a place to eat in downtown Gettysburg that didn't require a 2+ hour wait on a Friday night when we first arrived to town. We stumbled upon this restaurant and were very happy with the food and we were able to sit...More

We worried we arrived too late for service, but there was no rush and couples coming in after us were also served. We both had la cubana. Different from other more authentic cuban sandwiches but very tasty. Friendly service, reasonably priced and attractive hip decor.

A small, friendly restaurant with great staff. I had the grilled ham and gruyere with truffle fries. There’s a secret to this sandwich — apple butter in place of mayonnaise. Both were excellent. I just wish they would open a cafe in my town. My...More

Here's the place to go for good food that is not your typical pub fare. Great salads and sandwiches made fresh. My only complaint is that there is not enough seating and it fills up fast. The locals love this place.

Step through the door of one of Gettysburg's culinary treasures and be drawn in by the amazing aroma wafting from the open kitchen. A cozy setting within an updated former diner, guests have their pick of small tables or communal dining. The new American cuisine is full of selection and flavor with a changing menu to keep you coming back for something new. Open daily for lunch and dinner, select from fresh salads, sandwiches or dive into an artisan wild mushroom pizza. There's nothing common about the mouth-watering vegetable powerhouse sandwich on wheat berry bread, the muffaletta or any of the chef's seasonal selections. Be sure to include a side of house cut truffle parmesan fries. Save room for a delicious dessert. Made fresh, the selection of cakes and pies are complemented by a frothy cappuccino or caramel macchiato. Lunch or dinner, be sure to make Food 101 part of your next Gettysburg getaway.
