I had the Chicken Caprese. Fabulous. No gluten free menus but staff is knowledgeable. We sat in window with nice view of Gettysburg street.

We had to wait about 15 minutes to get in for dinner at 18:30 on a Saturday night. The menu is not extravagant but there is something for everyone. My father and I both went for a Berger and fries, in hindsight not the best...More

Food 101 is the only oasis in a restaurant desert for foodies. It's a stylish casual walk in setting, yet we didn't feel rushed. If you can make an updated grilled cheese and tomato soup simply sublime, I wish I could have tried everything else...More

We had a very good meal here, with good service, and very fine food. My Bistro Steak (with potatoes and green beans) was quite tasty though the cheese strips on top didn’t add very much (should they have been melted a bit?). My wife’s Caprese...More

Everything here is delicious, the flavor is very intense. Cooking is perfect with nice sized small menu. Make sure you leave some room for the wonderful desert. Highly highly recommend.

We visited friends who live in town, and they recommended dining here. We really enjoyed it, including a great vegetarian sandwich and a pizza. The restaurant itself is very cozy (yes, that means small) but comfortable, at least once you get a seat.

Amazing meals! Two of us had a pizza which was authentic. The curried salmon sandwich was very good. I had the Brie Burger with truffles fries...amazing. I highly recommend this eatery. Service was excellent also.

Step through the door of one of Gettysburg's culinary treasures and be drawn in by the amazing aroma wafting from the open kitchen. A cozy setting within an updated former diner, guests have their pick of small tables or communal dining. The new American cuisine is full of selection and flavor with a changing menu to keep you coming back for something new. Open daily for lunch and dinner, select from fresh salads, sandwiches or dive into an artisan wild mushroom pizza. There's nothing common about the mouth-watering vegetable powerhouse sandwich on wheat berry bread, the muffaletta or any of the chef's seasonal selections. Be sure to include a side of house cut truffle parmesan fries. Save room for a delicious dessert. Made fresh, the selection of cakes and pies are complemented by a frothy cappuccino or caramel macchiato. Lunch or dinner, be sure to make Food 101 part of your next Gettysburg getaway.
