As in France, dining out at La Petite Boucherie is a serious business, with choices to be savoured and flavours anticipated. The prices are also quite serious - perhaps a little on the high side. But even if I might have expected to pay a...More

This tiny restaurant is a charming French find. I felt like I was in France. Anthony , our waiter ,was knowledgable, entertaining and an excellent host. We enjoyed Pappardelle, salads d’Artichauts, Carrie d’agneau, bistro burger,an unbelievable mousse au chocolate, and creme brûlée . We had an...More

It used to be a nice place, with good food and good service. But it changed! The manager is very rude and clearly doesn’t care about the people there. There is plenty of better restaurant in the area, don’t loose your time in going there.

What a nice find, this is a lovely neighborhood restaurant with elegant decor and amazing food in a modern French bistro style. Friendly service, delicious food.

A very traditional French menu, salade nicoise, chateaubriand, tarte tatin, etc. Well prepared and in a lovely ambience with friendly staff. A little pricey for a regular family meal though.

Went to this restaurant with my family. I did book in advance which is highly recommended to do - it's no big establishment but a rather small place. The menue is quite short but distinct with many typical brasserie dishes, such as snails, salads, moules...More

Ambiance, check. Lovely staff, check. Delectable, check. We couldn’t have been happier with this selection. A gorgeous little corner of France awaits. Maybe 13 tables max situated close together in the golden glow of this oasis. Excellent meal, wines selection and knowledgeable friendly staff. Please...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you

Frick Museum is near Central Park, Dominique Bistro is in West Village, you will need to take a train or cab I guess. Recently I explore West Village and Soho restaurants more, and it’s worth it!
