If you like Broadway show tunes you have to give this place a try. We went late on a Thursday night and everyone, I mean everyone but me, was pitch perfect spot on singing fabulous show tunes. We had no issues with the bartenders, the...More

Was taken to this little dive piano bar by a guy I met in the stonewall Inn. I would never have found it otherwise. I had an awesome time. Everyone was singing (very well). To show tunes. The crowd is made up of Broadway and...More

We visited after a recommendation, great little bar with continuous songs & people joining in. The bar was fine, nothing amazing but for a few drinks whilst enjoying music it was fine! It had good vibes & is worth visiting

Rude is rude and this is a place filled with aggressively rude staff, particularly the bar man who seems to take pleasure in being not only rude but aggressive. Checking your coats in results in you being told off for being in the way on...More

My friend is a Broadway fanatic (I'd consider myself more of a casual fan), so I mainly tagged along. To be far, the bar was fun! It was fun singing along and the drinks were all that expensive considering where the bar is. The crowd...More

Went to Marie Crises invited by a good friend! Loved the place: there is always someone playing piano and people are singing the songs around it! It’s so cool and funny! Mostly the bar is gay but yes, you can find some straight people there...More

I was taken to Marie's Crisis by a friend who had experienced it a couple of weeks earlier. While I don't have an interest in musical theatre it was a great place to experience. We went after an early dinner on a Monday evening so...More

For folks who love show tunes, this is a definite place to go! It's a small, downstairs, and usually packed, but everyone crowds around the piano to sip drinks and sing along! As in other reviews, the bar staff aren't the friendliest, but you don't...More

It seems as though many of the out-of-work performers in New York come here to practice their craft, and they know the lyrics. It's just a beer bar with few places to sit, but the music is a treat. Used to be a gay bar,...More

Recommended by friends this is the kind of place you might otherwise easily walk past. In the heart of West Village you enter through a small door at street level, down into the basement. This is not a high end place! In fact it's quite...More

West Village
Stretching from Sixth Avenue to the Hudson River, the
West Village is one of the city’s most coveted
addresses. Full of trendy shops, historic taverns, and
cozy restaurants set amid 19th century architecture,
this neighbourhood has a unique old-world feel. You
won’t find a more picturesque location in Manhattan.
Without the traditional city grid layout, it’s easy to
get lost here, but that’s part of the fun as you
