I read reviews about questionable service but those must be people that don't get it. This is an independent restaurant that clearly states that they don't serve Fast Food. Two ladies running the front by themselves working hard and delivering great food, made to order....More

I read many positive reviews about this restaurant, especially its breakfast. So it seemed a sure thing. Not quit! The scrambled eggs were dry and rubbery, the hash-browns were pasty and the pancakes, definitely not home made. While the portions were more than generous, a...More

Not sure why I hadn't tried this restaurant before, even if I walked past this place at least 5 times a day during my visit to Boston. I decided to finally give it a try and I fell in love, so I came back the...More

We had a nice breakfast on Sunday morning. We only waited about 10 minutes for a table and our waiter was friendly and helped us decide what to odder. The challah French toast was very goood and my husband really enjoyed his omelette. The coiffee...More

We were looking for brunch and there was a wait at Thornton's when we arrived, but the line moved relatively quick. There was a great selection of food and the servings were plentiful and delicious. The prices were very reasonable for the location in Boston.

Ate breakfast here a few times during trip to Boston. Busy in the morning. Don't be put off if you see people queuing, you will only wait for about 5 to 10 mins and it's worth the wait. Value for money, lots of choice on...More

We visited for the first time and the breakfast was great. Omelette was superb and my husband’s Belgium waffle was wonderful. I can’t believe we’ve missed this place on our previous visits. It will now be our go to place for breakfast in Boston!

We ate breakfast here on our second day in Boston, it is great value for money compared with other restaurants we visited. Good hearty food in a pleasant environment.

On our vacation to Boston, we decided to return to Thornton's for breakfast. Six guests became 8, then 10, but our wonderful and skilled server just took it in stride. Each meal was creative and tasty... I had the scrambled eggs with prosciutto and provolone......More
