Really good cakes & cupcakes. Dense, moist, and delicious. A bit expensive, but still not a bad deal for a cake that good.

We ordered a chocolate marble sheet cake for our small city hall wedding. Nothing special and we added our own toppers, but oh my gosh, I still dream about how good it tasted. My grandma regrets not taking more leftovers to freeze! I am for sures going back to eat it again next time we're in SF. There was a... More

If I could order them to be shipped to IL... I would. I loved them. I just had a chocolate cupcake with buttercream and a white cupcake with buttercream but both were so delicious. Warm chocolate chip cookie was amazing too. I would so return if I could. Staff was friendly and there were so many choices .... wish I... More

This was a random stop after lunch at a nearby restaurant. The cakes look and smell amazing, but I opted for a sugar cookie sandwich with their amazing buttercream frosting in the middle. I bought my husband a 7 layer bar. We both loved our choices! They have cupcakes and other individual items. Well worth a stop if you're in... More

I love desserts. As Marie Antoinette joked "Let them eat cake! The decor is old-school, almost like a soda fountain/bakery mix. The cakes look like they flew in from the '50s, and taste amazing. Tried the Celebration Cake ~ $5, wow, the cake is dense and delicious, the frosting is just fantastic and usually arranged in the correct proportions. A... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighbourhood into a party-going hotspot.
