We were struggling to find something open between Volcanoes National Park and our hotel...tried a different Thai food truck first, waited an hour only to find out they were out of noodles AND rice! Thankfully we kept driving and found this treasure!!! We got there very close to closing, but the owners were very gracious and even gave us an extra appetizer they had left over. The pad Thai and green curry were both delicious, and my husband especially loved the spring rolls with sweet and sour dipping sauce. This is a must stop if you are in the area!

We eat here often, at least twice a month, and the food is always amazing. The spice is just right and the fresh veggies are a treat. The American food is also great. Have never been disappointed. Worth the trip and stopping to eat really good food always made to order.

We visited this food truck twice in two days! The Thai iced tea, pad Thai, spring rolls, burger, and pulled pork sandwich were all good. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was that the yellow curry was just okay. The potatoes were undercooked and the curry was a little thinner than I like. Everything else we had was good, and the owners were very friendly and nice. My boys were disappointed that we couldn’t return a third time because we were leaving the Big Island before the food truck would be open again (only Fri-Sun)! I would recommend it, but would not order the yellow curry again.

Food was delicious! Great stop for some quality tasty food! The couple that prepared the food were so friendly. Highly recommend the philly cheese steak sandwich. The owner gave us complimentary ice pops after our meal which was very kind!

Stopped at this food truck for the first time with my girlfriend . Get the vegetable spring rolls (Fried) The sweet-and-sour sauce is the best we have ever had hands-down!!! Seriously I’d go back just for those. I believe it’s 4 rolls for $6 or 7 bucks. So worth it! And the owners are very helpful in selecting a spice level that suits your palate. Also the pineapple fried rice is super good.. enjoy!

If you are in the area, Thai Grindz and More is a must! Best Thai food on the big island. We had the chicken satay and veg roles. Both were fantastic. The sauces especially were very good.

Stopped by the fantastic food truck st their new location in Ocean View, right off Hwy 11 on Kona Drive.
I ordered the chicken covonjt soup, it was delicious! My friend ordered the Philly and fries. He said the mest was tender and smoother with mushrooms and onions in a yu.my cheese sauce on a toasted hoagie roll. A must do stop.

We were on our way to south point and we're hungry... Lo and behold we stumbled upon this awesome food truck on the road side! Great menu, great food, huge meals. Bonus is watching the chameleon get fed, and also the macadamia nuts! Perfect lunch stop!

Driving highway 11 from Kona to Green Sand Beach and noticed the blue round signs for Thai Grindz food truck. WORTH THE STOP, plus this is Hawaii and vacation, so what's the rush? Dad, Kids and I had pad thai, French fries, Red Curry chicken and pulled pork sandwich. All were FANTASTIC, and the owners are super fun and nice people! We'll seek them out again on way to the Volcano.

We were driving around the island and found this spot around dinner time. The chicken coconut soup was outstanding. The depth of flavor was incredible. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich that he loved. Don't miss out on the spring rolls! Her sauces are incredible! Also, loved the thai tea. My boys had a hamburger and chicken burger that they loved. Reasonable priced btwn $6-10 each. Definitely will return!

We stopped here to grab some food before getting to volcano national park and I do have to say I was very impressed with the quality. They have the best Thai around as well as the French fries. This is a must stop!

When you're driving down hwy 11 from Kailua Kona towards South Point it can be tough to find a place for a decent meal. This food truck is a godsend. Right around the Honaunau area look out for signs announcing a food truck coming up. Run by a very friendly husband and wife team (she's originally from Thailand) this place serves up good Thai food as well as interesting takes on traditional comfort food. They have a couple of tables set up so you can enjoy lunch by the roadside under a macadamia tree. Different takes on Loco Moco... all very good... yes, we tried them all. Very cool place.

We were driving along the highway to the black Sand Beach and thought we would never find a place to eat. Then Thai Grindz food truck appeared! What a treat!

We purposely drove to the Southern Most Point of USA this year, so we could stop and eat at this Thai food truck again. Watch for it on the west side of the highway. Super nice owners and good food. Don't forget to order a thai ice tea. Frozen in a water bottle so it's nice and cold.

Just back on island and getting my fix at
Thai Grinds..... Nat's famous Spring Rolls and a couple loaded chili dogs .
Roadside on highway 11 just south of the Milolii turn off.
Lunch with family under the Jacarandas.... shared tables having us visiting with folk from all over the world.
So far, everything I've had from their menu has been delicious. Philly sandwich... pulled pork and of course Pad Thai..
Definitely recommend !
