The outside does not compare to what you see inside. The attention to detail was the best I have seen in a diner. Ashley was on top of her game with speed, efficiency and callbacks. Oh and by the way, breakfast was terrific. Tasty and...served quickly. I can see why this location is high rated. Joni takes tremendous pride in setting a high standard of operational excellence.More
We have found a new place to eat whenever we are in town. The theme is back to the '50s. The waitress was very friendly. The food was good.
The seating is somewhat limited and crowded. The shakes/malts were small. The food was plentiful.
Heard great things about the food but some concerns regarding COVID. Food was excellent. Family had the corned beef hash, pesto omelette, biscuits & gravy, & Belgian waffles. Everyone left with a full belly. ~½ staff & patrons were wearing masks but we were seated...in an area where most employees & patrons wore masks. Would definitely come back.More
Based on the reviews and ratings we tried this place for breakfast. Food was decent.
However the lack of masks worn by staff was uncomfortable. If masks and safety are important to you I would not eat here.
We love Joni's, I am not complaining about the food nor the service, we are loyal customers but I am not understanding why the owner is walking around without a mask, some staff wear it and others gets away with wearing below their nose or...none.
Some customers are walking in and out without them. Not sure if I felt safe this time. Not sure if I will be back in a while either until all this pandemic comes down. Very sad because we love going to Joni's, our favorite breakfast place.More
Good was good - not great
Less than half of the people here were wearing masks including the hostess. People walked right in without masks and were seated near us. For that reason I cannot recommend coming here.
Keeping it plain and simple. Good coffee, good food, good nostalgia. Got the The Big E, wife got the denver omelette. Everything was fantastic. It's a must try. Get there early as it will be busy in a quick hurry.
