This place used to be a three and a half star place. The food was slightly above average, and the service reasonable and congenial. NO MORE!!! We went in tonight to celebrate. There were about twenty patrons, including my wife and I, and FIVE waitresses...running around like mad and nothing getting done. NO food was coming out of the kitchen... for several minutes on end. This place has suffered a diminishment in managerial competence. Our waitress, bless her heart, got a twenty percent tip. It wasn't HER fault everything else was sub-mediocre. Not until new management will we venture there again.More

I’ve been waiting for Parkers to open up for inside dining so I could sit and enjoy a meal. I’m pleased they’re up and running again. My late lunchtime meal was so enjoyable. I ordered the Shrimp Po’ boy sandwich with 8 huge spicy shrimp,...sliced tomatoes, lettuce, dill pickle chips, topped with a generous amount of sweet caramelized red onions atop an open-faced garlic roll. I ordered mine with fries and tarter sauce. It was way too big to pick up, so I ate 1/4 of it with knife and fork, then took 3/4 of it home. It’s a big sandwich and could be very shareable with another person. My waitress was new, but she did a great job, so it didn’t seem like she just joined their waitstaff crew. Overall it was a relaxing experience. I’ll be back again soon.More

Forget the Cheesecake Factory. My slice of Heath Bar cheesecake at Parkers was the bomb! I’d go back just for dessert next time. Mmmm

Stopped here coming back from Salem on Thursday. They are practicing social security. One friend ordered the seafood fondue on the appetizer menu for lunch (small eater) and it was beyond yummy. Another friend ordered the scampi. She refused to share. I got the Turkey...Bacon cranberry sandwich with coleslaw. Very healthy portions. This is good quality fresh homemade food by the owner plus he makes all of the dessert items Definitely a labor of love, and the wait persons were very helpful.More

Got dinged and extra couple of bucks when we asked how come our burgers had no vegetables on them. Told the waitress our burgers were dry and she took my ticket back and charged us another 50 cents for the extra sauce we asked for...to make them edible... The pasta was also dry and I've had much better out of a box... All this on Father's Day 2020! We used to love coming here to eat but the last 3 of 4 trips in the past 6 months have been bad... Too bad...More

Castle Rock is not known for mid to upscale eateries...Parkers, however, evolved from the main Parkers Brewery in Longview. With this this connection, Parkers in Castle Rock has the resources to offer surprisingly good steaks and other favorites. The staff is always friendly and attentive....They also have a full bar and a surprising selection of great wines.More

The fabulous homemade desserts are displayed in a case at the entrance. We thought about the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake as we ate chef salads for lunch. The salads were fresh, the honey mustard dressing was delicious and the portions were generous. We could not...get the cheesecake off our minds. I went out to the case and stood there staring at each dessert. Donut bread pudding, lots of chocolate choices, cakes, cheescakes... We ordered a piece of white chocolate cheesecake for each of us. Best dessert ever!More

My husband and I stayed in Castle Rock at the Mt. St. Helens Motel. The restaurant was a walk across the parking lot. Unbeknown to us, we should have made a reservation! The restaurant was packed and rightfully so! We had a 30 minute wait,...but the wait was well worthwhile. Our dinner was delicious! The menu is extensive and focuses on local and home cooking. The dessert of marion berry cheesecake was wonderful. In Castle Rock this restaurant rocks!More

The location was ideal for our motel, sharing a parking lot, but the food was only average. On the plus side, the portions were really large, and they were willing to seat us late in the evening, when they had already begun to clean up.
