Excellent service, great coffee, and great Covid-19 safety precautions. I felt safe and sanitary while enjoying my wonderful drink.

This coffee shop has a ton of charm! Built in a building that used to be a bank! The kids loved the ice cream:)

My friend and I visited for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. We went to relax. We thoroughly enjoyed getting lost in the variety of books. Old and new; many topics. The seating areas have eclectic furniture. My friend had an espresso and a...muffin top. The muffin top was $3. She didn't like it and it was smaller than a cookie. I had chai tea and a peanut butter cookie. Both were delicious. The beverage menu is extensive and creative. People on a bench outside eating ice cream told us it was delicious. We enjoyed the architecture, original stained glass, bank vault door and messages on the restroom walls. You will find beer across the street at a new taproom that is already very popular.More

This delightful establishment is pretty new, run by locals, situated in an old bank building (hence "Vault" in the name - the old bank vault is still there). We were hoping for beer when we saw "Brew" in the name, but it refers to brewed...coffee... The space combines a new/used book store with coffee/ice cream/deli counter for simple meals and snacks. There are some tables and free wifi, lots of light and an airy feel. Owner Jennifer was extremely knowledgeable about books and helpful in steering me to a good choice based on other books I was seeking. Large selection of children's books as well as adult books, and there is a kids' play area. People of all ages were hanging out. We do not normally stop in Castle Rock, but now we will make a point of visiting this cute book/coffee shop whenever we travel through the area.More
