Little Leary to go because the exterior was a bit run down. We entered and can see that they spent the $ inside. Not bougie.but nice, comfortable. The service and food were excellent! Definitely going back.

Great spot for a quiet low key family night early dinner. There were six of us celebrating a delayed Father's Day get together. Service was excellently provided by Caroleann who doted on my grandson in particular. Food was freshly prepared, served hot and presented well....A special, rainbow trout, was outstanding according to my wife. Great beer selection, including flights, are available. Dessert of Creme Brulee maybe the best I've had.More
First visit to VA and friend took me to this place. Lovely old style pub, wooden interior and friendly atmosphere. Wine list was good and burgers looked great but my salad was amazing. Beef, strawberry and goats cheese. It was delicious Service was good friendly...and efficient I would go again if in VA!! Recommend.More
The restaurant was very busy as this was a Friday evening. We were seated immediately and had a wonderful waiter....Jesse...very upbeat, friendly and patient. The food was delicious....two of us had the ribs which fell off the bone. The other two had cheeseburgers which they...said were quite delicious. Jesse was attentive and kept our glasses filled with beverages of choice. Will definitely go back..good place for families. Music was not too loud which happens in some restaurants. They have a varied menu.More
Very nice surprise. I had vaguely heard of it but my friend suggested it after biking on the W&OD. We each enjoyed a really good hamburger (mine had pimento cheese on it, YUM). So good I ordered the Angus burger to bring home to hubby,...and they nicely packaged so burger didn't get the bun soggy. Best part was our server Jesse! He was wonderful. Not over-bearing but always checking on us ( we were seated outside). The manager on duty also checked on the tables. Would definitely go back and recommend.More
I am so glad we stopped here! The atmosphere, service, and food was excellent. I highly recommend the shrimp étouffée appetizer. It is enough for two people and tasted much like the étouffée we ordered from restaurants in New Orleans. The burgers we ordered were...delicious too!More
We enjoyed having lunch at Leesburg Public House. Nice pub setting and friendly service. We ordered the pork shank (Osso Bucco style but minimal seasoning) and spinach salad with broiled salmon. Both were good with ample portions but from observing orders by other people, we...would try burgers on next visit. The Abita root beer float was really delicious! Not sure about noise level for dinner, but lunch was not loud and not crowdedMore
1st time we’ve had dinner here before. Great food and great service very close to everything. We would eat here again. Nice restaurant.
Open tables and little staff. We were 2nd in line to sit and we were told there is a 30 minute wait. It was near 1pm on a Saturday. There were many open, clean tables. I stopped our wait after 5 minutes and said why...is everyone waiting? Was told they had a lack of staff. I have sympathy for hiring but open tables is a bad sign and staffing may mean kitchen issues too. Too bad, was a nice place.More
Had reservation waited @ bar for fifteen minutes. Waiter was great beer selection good food very good.
We ate at this resturant on 6/20/22. The server, Grace, was terrific. We had fish & chips and the grouper sandwich. They both were outstanding. We started with Bacon Popcorn. If you are a lover of bacon or popcorn this is a must!!!
Visited LPH with friends on their recommendation. The service was attentive, trying to meet our needs without being pushy. I thought the menu was thin, with few options; I had a southern burger which was plenty of food, but nothing special. Others around me had...glazed salmon, a steak Caesar salad, and a different kind of burger. We enjoyed ourselves, and each others' company, but may not race back for the food.More
I forgot how good this place is. Food is great across the board, service is friendly and fast, even on a Friday night, and there’s lots of beers to choose from. Great atmosphere. Food standouts include the big pretzel appetizer (ask for extra pimento cheese),...lacquered salmon, and the short rib grilled cheese. Locally owned and operated - not cookie cutter.More
We planned on going to a brew fest at another establishment but could not get in. We tried this and we’re so happy we found it! Beer selection was great! Food was delicious and service was great! I had the roast beef sandwich which was...fantastic! My husband had the fish and chips and my daughter had the short rib grill cheese. We loved our food and our beers! Our server Julian was really great! Can’t wait to come back!More
Stopped because good reviews on trip advisor. Cozy atmosphere. Excellent waitress who was helpful. The tea was delicious. Hubby and I had bacon popcorn, nice surprise, tasty. Both of us had a burger and fries. Fries were hot, fresh and delicious. The burgers were big...and juicy. Very nice restaurant. Seems like a hometown favorite of leesburg residents.More
