An original restaurant with many very nice things: the fondue is prepared at the table and the staff is very involved. Dinner is very good. There are fondues of different types ranging from the most classic to the more imaginative, with a fairly varied price range depending on the fondue ordered.
The details that make the difference: the offer of an egg at the end of the fondue and the little génepi offered. Thanks to Charles who took very good care of us!
A good address in Les Arcs 1950.

We were in a relatively large group (12)
Apart from excellent burgers for the 4 children, the adults chose Savoyard fondues, so this review only concerns these two dishes.
The burgers were perfect, and the 2 types of fondue (classic and porcini mushrooms) were as well.
The service is efficient and very cheerful, and the two young women who provided it upstairs were as charming as they were professional.
Little fun detail: she prepares the first fondue while showing how to prepare the others. We are therefore entitled to a “class” in fondue preparation :-)
The wine list is quite extensive.
For these dishes, we were at €55/cvrt with wine, soft drinks and coffee/dessert, which remains very reasonable.

We recently had the opportunity to dine at this charming restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious fondue. What really stood out about our experience was the exceptional attention paid to our preferences, as we do not consume alcohol. Although alcohol was initially present in the fondue, the team graciously replaced this with a smoked tea, providing a tasty alternative. Tifaine showed exemplary patience in responding to our requests, and the table was also set up in a child-friendly manner. The fondue was simply delicious. We are already planning our next visit, without any hesitation.

We recently dined at Chez Leontine restaurant in Les Arcs 1950. Although the ambiance and setting were pleasant, our experience was marred by a few disappointing aspects. Upon arrival we were placed at a table upstairs where it was very cold which affected our comfort during the meal. In addition, we noticed that there was only one waitress for a significant number of customers, which had an impact on the quality of service and the waiting time to be taken care of. Unfortunately, this influenced our overall perception of our visit. We think the restaurant is overrated based on various reviews, and we don't plan to return in the future.

Chicken supreme (a small thigh) no better than industrial cuisine and its shamefully bland and watery gratin dauphinois, costs 25 euros...
Glass of wine advertised as 14 cl, but in reality more like 10 cl...
Fondu was just correct, but charged 27 Euro per head.
Basically, flee this place if you want to avoid being treated like a pigeon.
The owner has a virtual monopoly on the station. In the other restaurant of the same owner, you ask for a half, they bring you and they charge you a pint, on the grounds that according to them a half is half a liter, and when you ask for an explanation, the beer is not even offered , it is just replaced.
Although the staff recognizes offhand that it is abuse....

Delayed service per guest: either we wait politely for the dish of his spouse and we eat cold, or we eat each one in turn! Cooking mussels without flavor, elastic fries. Price wine by the glass excessive. Pass your way

The service is impeccable, the Jura fondue is excellent and prepared in front of you which is original. There is no doubt that the other fondues offered on the menu must be just as good. For 3 people, there was just enough, we could have dipped 3-4 more pieces of bread, I even had dessert, which is normally never the case.
On the other hand, it's very expensive, €32 for a fondue, €43 for a bottle of Bergeron chignin, it's excessive. €12 for a cocktail and not an olive or appetizer served with it, again that's excessive.
We made the comment to the waiter, it seemed normal to him. Fine, but we won't come back!

to avoid raclette. only thick cut lwos ham, or truffle ham, new apple, salad, and I have never had so little cheese (only 1 variety) for a raclette, especially at €35 per person. 1st time in my life that I came out of a raclette really hungry. The answer at the checkout: we don't have charcuterie, we are a cheese restaurant. my cheesemonger makes me 1 raclette with 4 cheeses are comparison. you will never see again

The place is charming and well located at the entrance to the 1950 village, ideal for a lunch break on a ski day. The staff is very welcoming, the service is fast and the dishes delicious (Savoyard fondue and fish for us).
An original experience: the fondue is prepared before our eyes and the waiter brilliantly explains the different cheeses and their origin. Always with humor.
I absolutely recommend!

A fondue specialty prepared in front of us, we tried the pear fondue on the recommendation of our pleasant waitress, very original and a delight I recommend!!
Chic and warm atmosphere, top service. If you want to finish with a sweet touch, the homemade honey crème brûlée and the cheesecake were delicious 😋

We couldn't end the holidays without a Savoyard fondue. The restaurant is nice, the service fast and the food good. The fact remains that €25 per person for a simple fondue is not justified culinaryly speaking. It's still bread and cheese.

We have been to Les Arc many times and eaten in most of the restaurants there. Every time we go it seems restaurants have changed ownership, some for the better others not so. We ate at Chez Leontine on our last night in the resort which was such a shame as I would have loved to have revisited. The staff were helpful, friendly and let me try my French. The food was excellent as was the service. Next year, we will be back!!

New establishment which, in my opinion, will quickly become one of the resort's must-see restaurants.
The menu offers typical dishes made with quality products and a fine selection of wines.
The decoration is charming and I note the quality of the service, the whole team was top notch!
We will gladly come back.

The servers were attentive to our needs. On the other hand, if you have health problems, be careful with salt... These are not salty fries, but salt on the fries. Change these boards which were to be used for the old restaurant Le Mazot, the juice from my meat even went through the board, the tablecloth drank the juice...
Chef Etchebest doesn't like wooden boards, neither do we....
Beware of bacteria remaining in the wood

Very rustic, mountain restaurant, their fondues are incredible, then the desserts especially the hearty homemade tarte tatin
It is worth the detour from Les Arcs 1950 to eat at Léontine.
Thanks to the whole team
