We enjoyed a late lunch outside with veiws of the Summer Isle. Freindly welcome and quick request to order at the bar inside if we were eating. Garlic mushrooms and langustine followed by Haddock, chips and veg. Cooked to order and beautifully presented. Thank you

It looks like a basic and rather isolated pub. But the food that came out of the kitchen was fabulous. The focus is fresh and local seafood. How fresh? The waitress explained that my dressed crab was delivered by the fisherman at 4pm and was...on my table at 6:30pm. It was the best I have ever eaten anywhere in the world. Cheerful and well travelled waitstaff with interesting backgrounds and some local characters as clientele made for a very cheery evening. If you happen to be in the area, don’t miss this little gemMore

Excellent food across the menu, from the scallops to steak and even the child’s portion all cooked with care and attention. The food was very tasty. The restaurant has character and makes you feel welcome even in these odd times.

We ate here twice while staying in the campsite having visited several times before. Once again we were not disappointed. Catriona and Andrew are excellent hosts and the seafood served here is absolutely delicious. We would also recommend the steak pie. The pub itself is...cosy and welcoming. We look forward to our next visit.More

As social-distancing reduces capacity booking was essential at this cosy bar to which we had been recommended. What was demonstrated was how to use good local ingredients to their best advantage. Crab, lobster, steak, fresh scampi all presented with smiling good-humour in these difficult times....Well worth the booking!More

Great food as always. I would not visit if you have any concerns about COVID precautions. There are none. The bar was full of people watching sport and drinking. No staff at all wearing face coverings. No table service for drinks.

Well fantastic Wee Bar just opposite the Port A Bhaigh Campsite a few miles north of Achiltibuie. The food was fantastic and the scallops were biggest I have ever eaten. The rump steak with surf and turf was just what needed after a hard days...walking. Had a few pints after and good craic in the pub even though we were all social distancing. Top food , great staff keep it up team Remember to book ahead as very busyMore

I truly believe the best scallops in the world are served here - and there's not much wrong with the lobster either. The situation is wonderful, the atmosphere convivial and the service efficient and friendly. It's a disappointment that the choice of beer isn't more...interesting, but the remoteness may limit what's available. I would like to award a whole constellation of stars BUT there was a disconcerting lack of Covid precautions - a very crowded bar, unmasked staff and a bit more handling of glasses and cutlery than we'd have liked. But we'll still dream of returning.More

Went up there for a family evening meal while visiting Coigach area. Due to Covid-19 pandemic related restrictions it required to book table at least two days in advance, which was not a big deal for us. During our visit food was okay but nothing...extraordinary considering prices on the menu. Prawns and scallops were really nice but fish was very average and for some reason batter seemed to contain a lot of oil. Tables were quite far away from one another, while service appeared to be very nice and pleasant. Would probably come back for scallops and pint of beer again but nothing else than that.More
