In a kitschy place like Myrtle Beach that attracts mainly kitschy people, it was a pleasant to discover three very good restaurants and this was one of them. They have a separate vegan menu and Rob, our server, was very helpful so it was very...easy to order. Between the 4 of us, we ordered 6 different dishes and each was better than the other!More

Delicious sushi. Ordered sushi platter which was beautiful and on the recommendation of our server, Nathan. Also had garlic tuna tacos and lemon salmon roll. Everything was excellent and the service was even better.

We started at the sushi bar but moved to the bar because the coolers were empty at the sushi bar and the sushi chefs were busy and you could not see over the coolers to see what they were working on. Lee at the bar...was very personable and took excellent care of us. My only complaint on the sushi is that they cut large pieces and should cut smaller pieces and do larger quantity of the pieces. The quality of the fish is excellent which made for a perfect meal. They do offer several items that are not on the menu like spicy kani and seaweed salad. I am not sure why the items are not on the menu. We will be back.More

My husband found this restaurant as we had a taste for sushi. We were blown away by the flavors! Every item we ordered was fantastic. Our server, Ambie, was just wonderful. We definitely recommend the Vietnamese Ramen, Hibachi Deluxe and Kung Fu Crunch sushi roll....We did come at lunch time (not knowing about their specials). They are a bit pricey, but the flavors were very worth it to us. We plan to come back in a couple of days to try even more items!! We will visit whenever we come back to Myrtle Beach!!!! Side note- we also ordered the crab rangoon- it was the best that we have ever had!More

Definitely the best meal I had on my Myrtle Beach vacation. I was truly impressed by the flavors and presentation of everything I ate. We were there with family, and even the less adventurous eaters all found something they enjoyed. It was a beautiful night...out and I really enjoyed the outdoor seating. The indoor seating seemed kind of loud when we walked through. Our service was a little slow, but we did arrive about 45 minutes before closing time with eight people, so I don't blame them. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area.More

We never miss going to this place on our annual visit to Myrtle Beach, and with some of the recent reviews I must admit to being a bit hesitant. But I'm glad I did. The outdoor dining was great for the COVID-19 crowd. I had...the Korean Poke bowl and Garlic Sesame Tuna Tacos. My wife had The Pho and Pork and Ginger Gyoza. While the Korean bowl was at my spice limit, I'm getting old and that is easy to get to. But the food was not over spiced, and it tasted delicious. There was more rice than I like, but in the end I ate every bite and enjoyed it. The raw tuna tacos were interesting, and tasted very refreshing along side the rather heavy bowl. My wife enjoyed the Gyoza and pho, but in both our cases we were stuffed by the end. The staff was very friendly and our server Kate really took great care of us. Used to love this place. The last two visits were abominable, to say the least. Let me start by saying you have very good food. The edamame is the best around. However, this is the second time I ordered off of the allergen free (vegan...and gluten free options) only to find my food had been cooked with meat and fish:( The last time I ate the fried wontons, I literally got sick. I raised the issue to management, and they promised to make my dish safe next time. Well, last night I had the same experience. The service- it used to be exceptionally good. These days, you have a bunch of kids in there playing on their phones and ignoring customers. I won't back based on the service alone, but the food thing is really the worst part. It is super kind and thoughtful to offer vegan and gluten free, but the food must actually BE vegan and gluten free. People with celiac disease can be sick for three weeks after eating gluten! I have seen it happen to friends and family. Vincent, the manager, did take care of us and apologized. He was polite and courteous, and we were grateful. The bartender, however, was so nasty that we only left him a 10% tip. We never tip less than 20 %. The whole experience was quite upsetting. I hope management reads this and addresses these issues. I hope one day we can go back and enjoy CO Sushi like we used to.More
