The appetizers were ok - and the steaks are literally just burnt and charred with no flavor, but just burnt /charred. nasty. And yes I've experienced wonderful aged steaks at some of the best in the US. This was a $120 ribeye, aged and charred to the point of no flavor. We told them it was not as expected or ordered and they basically didn't care at all that it was not good. Bad experience. Bad food..Bad management. KELLY especially, she should be fired, and who didn't even offer any resolution then lied to try to make us look bad. Go to any other places , try Sea Blue in North Myrtle Beach. They told me on their review don't come back to their restaurant. I won't. Screw this place, Kelly and you gonna have to pay me to bribe me to come back. Portion are small and the and the chefs should consider culinary school or some formal training, never had burned Chilean sea bass server over risotto soup. The only positive's is the bartender make a good at $ 27.50 per drink.More

We've been eating at Fire & Smoke for about 5 or 6 years. I'm not a huge fan of the dark atmosphere, though I understand it's a gastropub, but the food is awesome. It is a little on the expensive side but they use high...end ingredients and the food is cooked perfectly each and every time. My favorite meal is actually the least expensive thing on the menu - the Chophouse Truffle burger. I always upgrade the fries to truffle fries as well since there is no such thing as too much truffle! Our last visit, my husband got the burger and I got one of the specials, which was a white fish (I can't remember what kind), we also tried the Iberico Jamon plate. Fabulous! It definitely isn't an inexpensive meal but it's always good. And it's so hard to find anything original in the land of calabash and chain restaurants. This one is a keeper.More

The food was very good and the waiter was great but the portions were very small and expensive. I left hungry and it wasn’t cheap.

Food quality, presentation and ambiance were all excellent. The freshly baked bread and dipping oil with fresh herbs - best ever. Ribs and the side of sweet potato fries - done just right and so tasty. The creme brulee - delicious. The smokey old fashioned...cocktail was pricey, but top notch. We don't usually eat at such expensive restaurants, but it's fun to splurge on vacation. In this case, the price truly did reflect the quality and it was well worth it.More

That was the best meal I had so far in the United States ( we have been here for 6 weeks). The steak was unbelievable ( and yes I asked for it to be well done and yes it was perfectly juicy). Ribs were also...unbelievable. There is not much else to say. It is an absolute must if you’re in the area. Excellent and sophisticated. Thank you.More
