With hundreds of restaurants on the Grand Strand, I chose to eat here twice on a four day vacation. All party members ordered veal Parmesan and were very pleased with how the veal was pounded and prepared. The portion was very generous. We arrived at...opening and the service was fast an attentive. The flavors are delightful from the complimentary bruschetta appetizer to the salad to the tomato sauce. How many weeks until next summer and I can return again?More

Went there for our "fancy" resort area vacation meal and we were not disappointed. Great food, great staff! Would love to go there again! P.S.: Did I mention that I honeymooned in Italy back in the 1980"s? As good as anything I ate back then!

If you’re looking for good Italian food please do not eat here. The pasta is frozen. Gnocchi is homemade and incredibly underwhelming. The marinara is out of a can and has 0 flavor. The rolls are like rubber, and the parmesan cheese is not off...the block. Oh, and the lasagna is less than mediocre. It’s just smothered in cheese. I regret eating here. I gave it two stars because I was able to swallow, but I certainly did it finish the meal.More

Had a romantic dinner with my husband on the last night of our stay in Myrtle Beach. Amazing food!!!! Service was excellent! Real red roses in vases on tables that had white table cloths. Costs as expected for such a fine restaurant but not excessive....A MUST place to visit if in Myrtle Beach esp if you like Italian food.More

Started coming here when in town for golf back in the 1990s. Moved to SC and always made Villa Romana a must stop when here for weekends. Finally moved to Murrells Inlet in 2014 and have been coming at least monthly. Staff is very professional...and the owners -- Rinaldo & Fran -- are delightful. They normally stop by your table to say hello and ensure everything meets your needs. Great service, very nice wine choices, specials are always interesting, and the menu has just about anything Italian that you might want. Will also do variation and/or specials upon request. Don't miss it.More

This is the best Italian cuisine I've ever had. Great atmosphere and wonderful service from our waiter Tim, and we were serenaded by a gentlemen that who played accordion and who was a bit of a comedian. My family and I are here in Myrtle...Beach on vacation. Wish we had an Italian restaurant this great back home.More

The food was incredible. My husband got the Chicken Florianto and was in love. He practically licked his plate. I got the chicken ripieno and loved the chicken with ham, cheese, and white wine sauce. Meal included bruschetta, soup, salad and rolls for an incredibly...reasonable price. We ate there two times this week and will definitely put it on our list next time we visit the area.More

i have gone to Villa Romano in the past with just my husband, friends and my book club twice for dinner. This time was a Mother's Day dinner with daughter and son-in-law. My daughter doesn't let me complain about anything so here it is. This...time I found some things different including 1) air conditioning blowing so hard I thought I would have pneumonia. I asked them to turn the blower down and they did (for about 10 minutes) then I came back on. I sat there eating in my raincoat I bought as it had rained earlier. Our waitress "Sandy" had a puss on her face til the bill came. I was starving and wanted to order but she just walked away and came back over 20 minutes later.. 3) My rigatoni was cold but again, I couldn't find Sandy so didn't eat much of it. OKay, here are the compliments - veal parm was excellent and large amount of it. Of course, the accordian player was his usual comedian (he should take this on the road). I'm disappointed in having to write this review but maybe it's necessary. I hope to go back and things get back to the way they were.More

Villa is always our first visit on our vacation to Myrtle. This is old school italian cuisine. Loved our appetizers. Love the soup and tasty salad. All our dishes were awesome. Always love a great veal dish. Love this place.
