Sorry but our favorite Italian restaurant has been a huge disappointment. Our past two visits were poor when it came to service. Not sure if it’s due to worker shortage or slacking management. There are too many other options to choose from when it comes...to Italian cuisine in MBMore

We have eaten at Lombardo's a number of times and have always enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. We feel the atmosphere is amongst the best in the Myrtle Beach area, more quiet, intimate, and upscale than the usual "cafeteria" style atmosphere at most restaurants...around here. Our last visit was in April for my wife's birthday. I would say it was not as good as prior visits but still good. Service was a little lacking and the food was still very good but "off" - maybe lower quality ingredients? But what got me was that several weeks after our visit my credit card had several suspicious charges and the credit card company shut it down suspecting fraud and notified me. I checked my charges for the prior month or so and the only time the card was out of my control was at Lombardo's. All other charges were instances where I controlled the card or online purchases where I strictly use "virtual" card numbers so my actual card number is never disclosed. I can only conclude that our server or someone behind the scenes stole my credit card number. I obviously can't prove it but the evidence points that was. This happened to me twice before in the past at what was at the time our favorite restaurant and that waiter was eventually caught. My credit card company told me to ask for the card reader to be brought to the table like they do routinely in other countries. I will do this going forward at other restaurants but for now Lombardo's is on my s%&t list.More

Husband and I and our two kids came to Lombardo’s for dinner. The waitress (i think Melanie was her name) was super patient with our crazy toddler. She brought out their meals asap, which was perfect. The kids loved their pasta. I started with the...carpaccio- so yummy! Then had the chicken parm, which was also excellent. Two pieces of chicken with a side of pasta. The sauce was tasty and the chicken was crisp with gooey cheese! Husband got the stack- steak with a crab cake and shrimp on top. He finished the entire thing. Though pricey, he said it was worth it. We both left satisfied! Highly recommend!More

The bread was fresh and very hot with heavily seasoned olive oil. The wines are reasonably priced. Nice fresh salad with homemade dressings. The osso bucco perfect. The piccata excellently prepared. The crème brûlée made in house was wonderful.

A fair find, with a  restaurant dot com deal Nice environment and fair food with a friendly server. Not sure a solid hour+ of violin music was what I needed but I guess that works for some. Would return...

We went there because it was highly rated on this website. How is beyond me. The arancini was fine as were the mussels app. The calamari was like hair ties, rubbery and tasteless. No one had an entree that they described as good. The chicken...dishes were like sliced deli meat, the seafood dishes were overcooked and tough. There was nine adults, NO ONE said their meal was good. I will never go there again, Ciao is by far the best Italian restaurant in Myrtle Beach.More

The food was fresh and delicious. Service was good, prices a bit high for portion size but taste was good. A little noisy but not awful. Would go again.

My husband and I wanted a nice place for a romantic Italian dinner and I'm pretty sure we nailed it by coming here this evening. (Thanks to prior research using Tripadvisor). We were greeted by a friendly female and seated immediately - we had reservations....Our server was friendly and informed us of the house specials. She offered us a wine list and brought a fresh baked loaf and dipping oil to our table. We ordered the shrimp cocktail appetizer. Pasta e fagioli soup and Caesar salad came with our main courses which consisted of fettucine Carbonara with shrimp and chicken Cacciatore. Both were very tasty and hot. We shared a tiramisu for dessert which was lovely. The prices were very reasonable for a fine dining restaurant. We will return next winter when we return!More
