Went here for the first time for lunch on a Friday, and it sure won't be the last! The Hungarian Mushroom Soup ($5 for a medium-sized serving) was PHENOMENAL!!! Wish I'd gotten some to take home, too. Miss it already. The Butternut Squash soup was...very good, too, and the mini-bisquit (seemed like a buttermilk-type to me) you get when you order soup is outrageous!!! Spouse enjoyed the Turkey Lurky Panini which was loaded with turkey, bacon, spinach, and mozzarella with a chipotle-mayo spread (around $9 or so.) They have basic small tables with chairs in an adjacent room if you wish to eat there (nothing fancy,) but there's no wait staff. You order at the take-out counter to the right of the porch, and the table area inside is to the left.) Can also take your treats outside to the porch if the weather's nice. The two women behind the counter were wonderful! Lots of people seemed to be taking orders of the bread pudding to go. Will have to try that some time. They also have vegan and gluten-free options. (Closed on Sundays.) All I can say is: YUM!!! So happy this place is in Milford.More

I came to Spoonful for the first time last Monday and decided to get one of their soups for lunch. Their patio was already bustling with happy customers enjoying their lunches. I decided on the Hungarian mushroom soup, as my boyfriend’s mom sings praises about...this soup. I got the smaller size soup ($5), and that comes with a small homemade biscuit. The larger size soup is $10 and comes with two biscuits. I also ordered their tart Michigan cherry bread pudding. The lovely Meghan at the counter was very pleasant and accommodating. I took my lunch to the porch and thoroughly enjoyed the soup, which was chock full of mushrooms. The bread pudding, which is one of their bestsellers, satisfied my sweet tooth. It has just the right amount of sweetness, which is nicely offset by the tartness of the cherries. If you go, you must leave room for dessert!More

The price is a little high. The soups are very salty. Not worth the stop. Like the place but not the salt. Maybe the time i was in the soup I received was heavy handed with salt. Will try one more time

A little pricey but worth the $$$.. Their biscuits are small but very delicious. Two would be better than the one that you get. Paninis are delightful and Salads super!

Aspires to be a gourmet cafe, and almost gets there with the soups. But the pastries are small, average, and overpriced as are the specialty juice mixes. You won’t go wrong with a cup of soup on the porch on a nice day.

I have tried about seven of their soups and chili and the flavors are sublime the ingredients fresh and the density is like a stew...!
