I had a very good cheese steak sandwich but although the service was friendly it was slow. I asked for a local craft beer on tap and received a $6 can. It was already opened so i didn’t send it back.. but should have. This restaurant...deserves a 3 1/2.More
Great food. Friendly service. Views of the mountains. The community offers skiing and tubing in the summer. It offers boating, pools, beaches and river in the summer.
Great fishing nearby in addition to other family vacation activities.
This was an ideal stop for lunch during a day of skiing. I much prefer to sit and have a meal than to stand in line for chicken nuggets, so this place already sold me with their table service and their view of the slopes....Food for lunch was great! Both the burger and the chicken ranch wrap were delicious, and they have those breaded fries that I love. Service was very friendly.
No complaints, would definitely give it a shot for dinner, it’s the perfect casual setting for some prime rib and a glass of wine.More
I'm sorry I didn't tell the bartender (Lucas) that it's poor form/manners to make eye contact with a person seating, then continue playing an online game with another patron sitting at the end of the bar (only 4 others there). Same when it came to...waiting for my check. My tip was more than he deserved.More
Very poor accommodations. There were 12 in our party. We were seated at a table that accommodated 8. We asked for a second 4 seat table that was vacant next to us. Our hostess, Jennifer said no, and mentioned that there were people waiting for...an hour. I then said that I wanted to place my name on the wait list. She refused and said no. The table remained vacant as well as many other tables in our section. At this point, there were 4 extra people in our party just standing around us as we were seated. We ordered food and they were eating standing up while there were multiple vacant tables surrounding us. My husband then asked about the other vacant tables around and she placed him on the wait list. This was just after she declined my request for the wait list. Within 8 minutes of being on the waitlist, my husband received a text that the table was ready. When he approached Jennifer about the table, she said that it would be on the other side of the restaurant and not near our party of 8 who were already seated and eating. We were supposed to all be together. This hostess Jennifer was completely inflexible and unprofessional. When I began to complain, she told me to leave and that “this is my home”. Very poor customer treatment and an awful experience.More
The menu changes occasionally and the food is very good! Since the new food manager took over, it's really a great place to eat when you're here. They have specials during the week, and in the off season they offer football nights and different things...to do like raffles etc. come on up, say hi to Joe, and ask him for a recommendation for dinner.....it's sure to be great!!!!More
Haven't eaten in the restaurant in a while (4 months?) but the outdoor bar/grill is really nice. Large umbrellas, one with a gas firepit. I'd give the restaurant a 3 and the outside bar a 4 especially when there's entertainment.
The restaurant is always crowded and the food is generally fresh and flavorful in a very generic style. Don't expect a bold menu and you'll be happy. With the amount of crowds generally overwhelming the entire Lodge, note that thin soups and watered down ketchup...are the norm. If ordering drinks, don't think you are actually getting the top shelf that you ordered from the guy barkeep. And if you do, it's usually thinner than a regular bottle.More
