A very enjoyable night at El Corazon Cocina de Mexico - a great margarita, and delicious nachos and burrito. It was a busy night but the staff were all lovely and the service very prompt. Would definitely return.
Went to this place for taco Tuesday, had the $5 chicken taco the beef brisket tasted like tuna, also had the vegetarian taco had frozen like vegetables they were both served cold. The margaritas on there website states on a Tuesday that they have $10...margaritas turns out we were charged full price $15 and $17. With having this experience I would not recommend nor will ever go back!More

Hi Peter, thanks for your feedback. We haven't had $10 margaritas on tuesdays for some time now, it's not on our drinks menu, nor did you enquire about them when you ordered, or even when you paid your bill!. Our tacos are the best, sorry...More
Visited this place on Saturday 16/1/21 at 8.05 pm to be told the kitchen was closed despite a advertised closing time of 9pm. The restaurant was less than 1/4 full. The town was buzzing with people.
With Saturday’s disappointing experience with this restaurant we decided...to visit this restaurant in hope of a meal earlier on Sunday the 17/1/21 at 7.35pm. Again despite a advertised closing time of 9pm we were again told the kitchen was closed at 7.30pm 🤷🏼♂️. This is the school holidays in the middle of peak season 😮😮😮 again the restaurant was 1/4 full. I said to the girl you really don’t want business to be turning around customers two nights in a row.
Reading the other reviews it’s seems the food is below average so they probably did us a favour anyway. Definitely won’t be back with their attitude to customers!More
Our food took forever to arrive. When it did show up it was dry, bland and beyond average, not worth the price at all. If you are going to make a burrito, don’t stuff it with dry meat and too much rice. That’s not a...burrito, it’s just plain bad. Will never eat here again.More
Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. It took a while to be served, we waited quite long for basic entrees and were waiting a long time for our mains also. When the mains arrived one meal (beef tacos) was so basic and lacked any...flavour, spice or sauce that it wasn’t even eaten.
Usually when dining at a restaurant, staff will come and check on customers to see if they need anything and ask how the meals are, this didn’t happen. Wait staff walked back and forth past us numerous times without acknowledging us once. When we went to pay we let the manager know about the meal that wasn’t eaten and she apologised and removed it from our bill.
Friends of ours were hoping to book in to your restaurant and asked us how it was. We were honest and said that they are probably better off spending their money elsewhere as we had quite a negative experience.
We hope that our feedback and the feedback we heard from previous customers on the night is passed on to all staff so things can be implemented to improve the experience of future customers.More
I really enjoyed the trio of dips to start which set my expectations a bit high.
From someone who loves a good fish taco they were very boring tacos with not much flavour. The beef brisket tacos weren’t much tastier- the beef itself was beautiful...but way too much beef, needed something else to accompany it and needed sauce.
Chicken nachos were delicious and filing. The strawberry sangria was nice and easy.
Atmosphere was nice, service was good. Pricing was average for our meals.
This place is always booked out when we are in Kiama so I booked months in advance to make sure we got a table in the Christmas holidays. This lead me to believe it was going to be awesome but unfortunately it was just average for me.More
