We were here for the Jazz Weekend in Kiama with friends. This place packs a lot of punch. Off the beaten tourist track and a locals’ favourite. Great tapas, and wine list. Good beer selection, including Three Sheets pale ale. Service was impeccable. Great vibes...and music every Sunday lunchtime. Think about booking. Only suggestion would be, and perhaps they were Uber busy, is to serve more than one tapas plate at a time, but anyway...More
Went there yesterday whilst attending the Kiama Jazz Festival. The trio of dips was good. The Chorizo was very poor value, basically seven slithers of Chorizo and most were burnt. Service was ok but the ending was extremely disappointing and abrupt. After two plates of...food and two bottles of Wine between 4 of us were were basically told to leave as they wanted the table. We were there for the Jazz, spent a fair amount of money and then to be treated like that when they thought we were not going to spend more money was so rude. Next time we’ll do what others did and sit in our own chairs, listen to the music and spend nothing. It really left a terrible feeling with us and it was our friends first festival and the said they’d never spend money there again. Lesson learned.More

My only regret from our visit to the Art Bar was that we couldn't stay longer and enjoy more of the wonderful tapas on offer. Every aspect of our quick lunch was excellent-friendly service, reasonable pricing for the quality of the food, and ocean views...from our outside table. Every one of the tapas we shared was very good, but the scallops with ginger and miso was just fantastic. Highly recommended.More
We visited on a Sunday afternoon wanting to experience same live music in a relaxed bar which has great reviews.
Due to Covid, we could only book for 1.5 hours which was a shame as we would have liked to have stayed but had to...vacate our table by 4pm.
The service is exceptional with a high staff ratio and all very well trained. Food service is prompt and the food was very good.
The bar is about 5-10 minute drive from the centre of Kiama and around $15 in a cab. I would definitely recommend a visit here.More
Impromptu dinner and we weren’t disappointed. Good choice of wines, great food - we had the garlic butter scallops, king prawns, chrorizo and crispy potatoes. All delish. The chocolate pot with gelato was so so good. Service was excellent. Highly recommend!
Booked for 2.30 on a Sunday afternoon. Live music was great (Frank Sultana) really set a good mood. Tapas was excellent, but standout for us was how friendly the staff were. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back. We were staying at Big 4...Easts Beach and very easy walk around to spot where you then head up to the road.More
We had lunch here over the Queen’s holiday weekend. The food quality was outstanding. I’d say the best tapas I’ve had outside of Spain! We had several dishes, which were so delicious that we ordered a second round! The sherry glazed prawns were a highlight....Delicious wines too. Staff were lovely, especially the owner. A jazz band set up and played while we were there. Awesome vibe. A must when in Kiama.More
