$4.50 for a chicken sandwich. Yes thanks. $1 for salad as an extra. See my photo to see why half this meal went home. It was huge.
The fish was very fresh both battered and crumbed. The chips were fantastic and there was also a...toasted ham, cheese and tomato sandwich in the order.

Travelling south on a romantic weekend away, the gorgeous scenic views of kiama baited us into a search for fresh seafood.
The meal was quite disappointing, portion sizes proportionate to someone on a strict diet with more batter than the bland fish within. Calamari however...was very nicely seasoned saving the review from completely diving to the bottom of davey jones's locker.
All in all 10/10 would not eat again.More
When we the public are paying for take away, why would you rip us off. I ordered lunch.. Potato scallops are no thicker than a potato chip with heaps of batter and fish cocktails are tiny piece of fish with loads of batter. I wouldn’t...put up this bad review if it wasn’t that bad. Stop ripping people off.More
First thing that strikes you when you enter Gerringong Cafe and Takeaway is how clean everything is. Food is well displayed behind glass in the display and every surface appears clean. I dropped in here last week to break a car journey down the coast...and again today on the way back.
The food is tasty, well presented and great value. The coffee is well made. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Judging by the number of locals ordering lunch today this is a very popular cafe.More
