The couple who together run this bistro deserve National Treasure recognition. in what looks like it was a front room in out-of-the way St Keverne, they invent, cook and serve the most lovely dinners. Everything that can be is hand-made, from the bread, the gravadlax,...the pate, the souffles, the mains, the puddings, including always all the ice creams. This time, we enjoyed duck liver pâté, smoked beetroot and burrito, salmon, local lamb and a spectacular fig sticky pudding with hazelnut ice cream and poached pears. There are lots of awards of course. Even in the lockdowns and Tiers, they have served their local community and turned their hand to take-aways and bakery. Tables are even fewer in these times, but book if you possibly can.More

Our second visit to this little gem! The food is so imaginative, beautifully prepared and tastes divine. Every course was greeted with a ‘wow’. Friendly, attentive service. We can’t wait to go back.

A lovely restaurant in a very picturesque village with a lot of history. Really friendly welcome, lovely relaxed atmosphere. The scallops were excellent!! Followed by monkfish/ crab risotto beautifully presented with plenty of time between courses. A popular place with locals you will need to...book well in advance.More

Honestly I can't recommend this place highly enough.......after dropping the news of my dairy allergy there was a fleeting moment of panic in the eyes, quickly replaced by the most fantastic menu amendments! I started with Monkfish which with the mango was stunning. For main...I had scallops with a switch of the usual butter to an onion, pine nut & olive oil sauce, which was anything but disappointing. The cherry on the top was a vegan chocolate tart with pineapple sorbet, never tried by another guest which was possibly one of the best desserts I've ever had! If you are anywhere near St Keverne - this is a must do!!More

I can recommend this high quality, small restaurant. Everything we had was delicious. Lots of local ingredients. Generous portions. We spent £50 per head, for three courses and a glass of wine each. Really good value for money.

You are made to feel so welcome the minute you step through the door. The food is so tasty and comforting. So reasonably priced amazing for the amount and quality you get. We ordered the pineapple upside down cake for pudding and when we complimented...the chef on it he said it was both vegan and gluten free we would never have known. We had 3 children with us ages 9 13 15 they also loved the food not a scrap left on everyone’s plate can’t wait to go again.More

Hi there, only if it's essential that they should be there as in guide dogs I'm afraid. It's only a small place, and we need all the room :) thank you for your query.
